How long does it take for a character to get transfered to town after you disconnect while in an instance?

Question

When you disconnect in an instance your character gets transfered to town. How long does it takes for that to happen?

You'll be sent back to town immediately. Just like leaving any instance, that specific instance will remain open until it times out.

When you disconnect it takes 6 seconds before your character gets transfered to town.

	wrong, I play hardcore and I alt+F4 all the time when my HP dips under ~20% and I realize I'm gonna die. If it really took 6 seconds, I wouldn't have most of my HC chars anymore. – user41604 Feb 15 at 19:53
	@MarcoLeblanc Also read the forum, a lot of people still dies when they try to Alt+F4 out, which is actually a coward way to "cheat" death in HC mode, if you do that rather go play normal league. Also 6 seconds timeout was there before but they removed it because of their server instability, a lot of people died when their servers crashed so that's why they removed 6 seconds timeout, it will most likely be back sooner or later. – ChrisHateZ Feb 16 at 9:07
