I have a group (more than 4) of players that would like to play Terrorist Hunt together in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2. We are using the steam version. Is there a way that enables us to break the limits on numbers of players allowed in a LAN or campaign game?

Not a solution, but you can try SWAT 4. It's a slower, more methodical game that emphasizes non-lethal methods and capturing the bad guys. Co-op has no player limits, afaik. – Ampersand Mar 30 '13 at 4:11

You can do so, but it requires mucking in the game's private memory. Be careful, because this can have some unintended consequences.

Here's a detailed how to.

I haven't yet tried this method but I will not accept an answer that is essentially a link. That doesn't contribute to this site and is susceptible to link-decay. – Steinin Jan 31 '13 at 9:19
In addition, the link refers to R6V1 - should probably still work in 2, but worth noting. – Jeeva Sep 17 '15 at 8:08
