I've seen a series of wallpapers similar to the one below. All feature classic NES characters from Mario, Final Fantasy, or Mega Man. I've found some of them at Video Game Wallpaper but was hoping to find the original source of the wallpapers. Where did this series of wallpapers originate?

I'm a little confused by the wording. Are you asking about what game series that character comes from, or who the original creator(s) of the wallpapers are? – TheQ Nov 9 '10 at 17:40

I tried Tineye and BYO Image Search Lab, but to no avail. It must not be in their database. – Ullallulloo Nov 9 '10 at 20:06
