I installed the Mo'Creatures mod into Minecraft, then made a fish bowl. After catching a fish I went to put it on top of a bookshelf in my room, but instead of placing it, the bowl just dropped at my feet. When I tried to pick it up my character put it on his head. Now I'm stuck with a fish bowl on my head and I can't find any mention anywhere of how to get it off. There are a number of other animals from the mod that you can put on your head for some effect, but no mention of how to remove them pretty much anywhere.

I want to say crouching and either clicking or right clicking will do it. Let me know if that works. – SaintWacko Mar 4 at 0:54

Look up at the creature and right click on it when it's on your head to remove it.

To be very explicit - look up and actually right-click on the pet. – Shinrai Mar 4 at 3:28
@Shinrai I clarified his answer, thanks. – MapCavalier Mar 4 at 19:01
This worked. Also relogging seems to drop whatever is on your head also, which is how I solved the problem before seeing this answer. – mopsyd Mar 6 at 21:44

Maybe you accidentally put a command to make it your head. My brother showed me a command I believe it was /hat that made any object your hat and it doesn't come off unless relogging I believe. Hope this helps! Also yes @shinrai !

That's not at all what he means. In Mo' Creatures you can place pets on your head by right-clicking. I know nothing of a /hat command... – MapCavalier Mar 4 at 19:06

I know I have mo creatures. I took the time and liberty to install it. There is a command he showed me. I forgot what is was, will ask and give feedback. – Kubtops Mar 5 at 14:19
Fair enough, I'm curious – MapCavalier Mar 6 at 1:03
u put cursor over an object then do /hat . I think this works only for single-player with cheats. Try it out! – Kubtops Mar 6 at 1:38
Did it work @MapCavalier? – Kubtops Apr 3 at 2:29
