Arqade is a question and answer site for passionate videogamers on all platforms. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Note that I'm not looking for recommendations. Just trying to find a list of games that I can play simultaneously (i.e., not turn-based) with someone who is actually in my home.

As it happens, game catalogue questions have become off-topic since December 2010. Sorry – badp Nov 14 '11 at 11:27

Not know what genre exactly you're looking for, but from what I've played personally...

I know at least the following LEGO games: Indiana Jones, Harry Potter offer split-screen. I would imagine the others do as well (Star Wars, Batman).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare the original offered it, I never tried it in MW2.

You can find a full listing by searching for split screen games here: http://www.xboxmp.com

The Halo games offer split screen multiplayer - when four players are connected each gets a quarter of the screen. With two players the screen is split top and bottom, with three player one gets the top and the other two players screens are shown at the bottom.

This is true for Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo ODST and I'm pretty sure Halo and Halo 2 do as well (I know they are Xbox games, but they play on the 360).

Burnout Revenge does too.
