What are all the Need For Speed titles for the PlayStation 2?

According to the answer you accepted, I guess you were looking for "all of the Need for Speed titles" and not "all of the Need for Speed Underground titles"? – Lazer Jul 11 '10 at 18:07

The funny part is that I just took a wild guess that you really wanted all the NFS titles, specifically because there were only 2 NSFU titles I found listed on MobyGames. Glad my hunch was right! – John Rudy Jul 12 '10 at 17:57

Here are all of the NFS titles for PS2:

  • Need for Speed Underground
  • Need for Speed Underground 2
  • Need for Speed Undercover
  • Need for Speed Carbon
  • Need for Speed ProStreet
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted
  • Need for Speed Collection
  • Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2
  • Need for Speed Collector's Series
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted (Black Edition)

I suppose that, technically, Carbon, Most Wanted and Undercover could be considered "Underground" titles since they all also cover the tuner/street racing scene. Of the rest, ProStreet is probably the odd man out since it is focused on organized circuit racing. (i.e. on purpose-built race tracks and cars.) The remaining titles, up to and including Hot Pursuit 2, were almost entirely "supercar" oriented. – GalacticCowboy Jul 12 '10 at 18:14

@Galactic: Truthfully, I wouldn't know. I pulled the list off MobyGames; the last NFS I played was the first "Hot Pursuit" -- on a PC, when it was new. :) – John Rudy Jul 12 '10 at 18:54

I'm not sure what you're asking. There's only two Need for Speed: Underground titles, 1 and 2, and they were both released for the PS2.
