What's the order of "best fuels"?

Example: Coal cooks less than lava and blaze rods, wood cooks less than coal, etc.

What's the order of fuels based on their 'cooking quantity'?

Fuel efficiency found in Furnace

  1. Lava Bucket - 0.64
  2. Block of Coal - 0.8
  3. Blaze Rod - 5.3
  4. Charcoal - 8
  5. Coal - 8
  6. Huge Mushrooms - 43
  7. Wood and Wood structures - 43
  8. Wood tools and weapons - 64
  9. Wooden Slabs - 86
  10. Stick - 128
  11. Saplings - 128

Do not that efficiency is not the only thing you should take into account. Renewability (is a resource infinite or not) comes into play too, as well as "obtainability" (how easy is it to get/transport the resource). Lava buckets use iron, which is non-renewable. Blaze rods are infinite, and easily obtainable when you have a blaze spawner. –  Konerak Jun 20 '13 at 6:17

Burning jukeboxes...it's like a really efficient CD burning. Cast out the devil's music and repent! –  Alex May 29 '13 at 13:56
