So the Fender Squier Stratocaster is available for preorder as of the last 2 weeks in America, exclusive to BestBuy. However, I can't find anywhere in the UK/Europe/Rest of the World that purports to have it for pre-order, and the Fender UK site has no mention of it. Does anyone know anything about when the rest of the world will see a release?

Exactly the same situation in Canada, hoping someone knows an alternative so that I don't have to order one to a friend in the USA or something. –  Chad Birch Jan 12 '11 at 17:25

Sorry, but I have to disagree with Oak. I'd say this question would be helpful to any non-US RB3 players who are after the real guitar experience. Please can we have a vote to reopen? –  GordonM Dec 29 '11 at 22:09

I sent harmonix an email and they replied with this (for UK):

*Some retailers in the UK are already taking pre-orders at 199 pounds for around April 1st.

Andertons: http://www.andertons.co.uk/electric-guitars/pid20024/cid556/squier-stratocaster-guitar-38-rock-band-controller-in-black.asp

Instruments2go: http://www.instruments2go.co.uk/Rock-Band-3-Fender-Squier-Electric-Guitar-and-Controller-p-4162.html*

The first site says in the description that the controller will only be available through musical instrument retailers for the first few months so I'd suggest checking those for rest of EU/Canada.
