I have seen this armor in Skyrim around the internet, and I have no idea how to get it. I think it may have something to do with Thieves Guild, but I don't know any more. How do I get this armor?

-1 for lack of research effort. –  kotekzot Jan 28 at 13:10

Did you even bother playing the game? If not go to Riften, join the thieves guild and you get it when you complete their quests. –  ヴァイシャリ Feb 21 at 17:35

From the Skyrim wiki:

Acquisition

The full set is given to the Dragonborn by Karliah before performing the initiation ritual of the Nightingales during the quest "Trinity Restored" for the Thieves Guild. All pieces are obtained when activating the Armor Stone, emblazoned with the Nightingales symbol, inside Nightingale Hall.

Why the downvote? This is from an official source... –  syb0rg Jan 28 at 3:21

Official? The Elder Scrolls Wikia is as far from official as it comes. –  Billy Mailman Jan 28 at 3:40

@syb0rg UESP is the accepted source: uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Nightingale_Armor –  Riking Jan 28 at 6:51

@Riking even UESP is not official. They stand for the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages. –  ヴァイシャリ Feb 21 at 17:36

@Vaishali But I said accepted, as in the community, as far as I can tell, treats UESP as a 'better' source. –  Riking Feb 22 at 1:32

First of all, you need to do some thief questline quests, you'll meet Karliah in some of these quests, make sure to do they and she'll make you become a Nightingale!

And when she makes you a Nightingale, you get the armor. For free. –  ヴァイシャリ Feb 21 at 17:37

This adds nothing that hasn't already been said. Do you have anything to add beyond what other answerers have stated? –  Frank Feb 21 at 17:47

You are correct in that you will need to join the Thieves Guild. After running through the Guild's main questline, you will reach the quest Trinity Restored, in which your character is invited to join the Nightingales. The armour will be provided free as part of the initiation ceremony.
