I see that in King's Retreat there is a Rare Planarite Goods vendor. I can afford the purple pants, it would use up my only purple 'planarite' (forgot what it was called, received from an invasion). Would it be better to just save it for the next zone?

Currently level 17.

Each zone has its own kind of Sourceshard/Sourcestone (blue/purple-quality stones). You'll be unable to use your Corrupted Sourcestone (the purple stone you speak of) in Stonefield, for example.

ah so better use it. Thanks! – Robb Feb 27 '11 at 17:08
FYI: At least in the beta some zones share the blue and purple planarites (Stonefield and Scarlet Gorge for example). I don't know for sure if it's still the same in the release version but i would bet. – Joe Scylla Mar 2 '11 at 13:28
Ah, do they? I didn't check Rare Planar vendors in the beta past Stonefield because at that point I was mostly chain-running dungeons. Thanks! :) – Rilgon Arcsinh Mar 2 '11 at 14:04
I checked it yesterday and i can confirm that Stonefield and Scarlet Gorge share the blue and purpe planarite (but i don't know for other zones). – Joe Scylla Mar 3 '11 at 8:29
