I recently got Cryis (1) on Steam and there is a little battery meter reading "100%" in the top-right corner of the screen, even during cutscenes.

Apparently the battery meter is there because I'm playing on my laptop. Crysis runs on my laptop just fine, and I don't have a desktop PC that could run the game.

So, is there any way to hide or get rid of that "N/A ||||| 100%", at least during cutscenes? Thank you for your time.

It seems there are a few forum threads out there dedicated to this. The only success I've found so far is for Windows XP, here.

Thank you. The second half of the post at the end of that thread did the trick. – Matt Blaine Jun 17 '11 at 8:19
404 not found. This is why link-only answers are bad, mmmkay? – kotekzot Aug 10 '14 at 6:06
