When Mortal Kombat 9 came out, I picked up the Kombat Stick controller (not to be confused with the Klassic Fight Stick from the same peripheral maker).

Does the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection recognize it or is it a one-trick pony that works only with the latest Mortal Kombat?

I remember reading somewhere that licensed peripherals are required to send the exact same signals as a controller (i.e. if it works with a controller it'll work with the fightstick), but without a ref that doesn't do much good. – Ian Pugsley Nov 1 '11 at 18:45

According to this IGN article, it should work with other games, like any other controller, including other MK games, and non-MK games as well.
