When LoL servers are crowded, you have to wait on a queue, which recently has been short (Less than 1 min wait on EST peak times) however, the queue wait times can be as long as 10+mins.

LoL does not manage monthly fees whatsoever, but I am sure they know clearly how much RP has been spent by each player.

Would the RP buyers be put on a prioritized queue? or just ahead non RP buyers when there are long queues?

This is speculative; the only ones who know (and would be able to answer) is Riot themselves. As per our FAQ, I'm closing this. – Raven Dreamer Apr 23 '12 at 23:53
I think a experiment of some sort could be done to know this, perhaps by comparing log times of two accounts trying to sign in at the same time, one of them by having spent a reasonable amount of RP and the other by have not spent a dime. – camiloqp Apr 24 '12 at 0:23

Even with that experimentation, I'm fairly sure a conclusive answer couldn't be found given the variables in connection speeds. Hitting "Login" at the same time doesn't necessarily mean the connections will establish at the same time. – Fluttershy Apr 24 '12 at 0:43
I agree, flutter, thanks Raven – camiloqp Apr 24 '12 at 1:21
10 minutes queue... it used to be 2 hours... you had to log in then play another game and then play lol after :p – Lyrion Apr 24 '12 at 6:12
