I've seen people cheating on Maka Wuhu using a glitch. Near the tunnel, they have a mushroom if they are in 4th place or lower, and use the mushroom to dash into the pit near the little block of earth.

Edited the question and voted for reopen.He is not guessing if people are cheating he actually noticed them exploiting the bug and as you can see the question can be answered clearly without providing much unwanted discussion. – Arremer Apr 24 '12 at 2:37

They are exploiting the glitch,in front of the tunnel on the right side there is no fence and you speed up and jump in the water skipping a fair portion of map.

It got very popular and it will be removed in next update.
