Possible Duplicate:
What factors should I use to price an item in the auction house?

This question is really about how to value items bought and sold on the auction house. Obviously the answer will be subjective on a per player basis, but in the aggregate I expect there are certain stats that tend to make items sell for far more.

I'm imagining it's something like:

Most important:

  • Primary stats (Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity) -- because they increase damage
  • Vitality -- because everyone needs vitality
  • Magic Find
  • +Damage
  • Has Sockets

Lesser importance:

  • Armor
  • +Experience
  • Etc.

Nearly useless:

  • Resistances
  • Etc.

Obviously not a complete list, but this is the type of answer I'm looking for.

This question has been asked before and already has an answer. If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question.

This question will probably be pretty subjective. Such as, you have declared resistances fairly useless, while a monk making use of his passive skill "One with Everything" would disagree since he can stack a single resistance and have all his other resistances match it. –  Tater596 May 30 '12 at 15:39

I think this will depend on too many factors to give a "good" answer. Level/difficulty/playstyle/class, to name a few. For instance, I know that many people who are playing Inferno value resistances higher than all other stats. –  Hex May 30 '12 at 15:39

And the answer demonstrates why this is unanswerable; there is no WRONG answer. –  Frank May 30 '12 at 15:43

I think this question at the very least needs to be narrowed down to a specific class and difficulty level, and even then it's iffy, since it could be build dependent. –  Sterno May 30 '12 at 15:47

@Sterno narrowing by class is kind of meaningless if the question is about monetary value, not practical gameplay value. –  LessPop_MoreFizz May 30 '12 at 15:54

The most important things in Inferno are (my opinion):

  • Resistance to all
  • Primary Stats (+ Vitality)
  • Improved attack speed
