It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.

You need to host a server. If you're both on the same LAN, just load up the Survival Island map and use 1.3's new Open to LAN feature. To do this, pause the game, and click the If you're not both on the same LAN, then you'll have to host an internet game. This is a little more complicated, and rather than explain the long and router-dependent and OS-dependent process, I'll give you the link to the Minecraft Wiki page. Be sure to read everything before coming and asking for help. You will have problems, everyone does. Hosting an internet game is not an easy process. Once you've got the internet game setup, you have to copy the Survival Island map from your Minecraft folder. To find your Minecraft folder, (Windows only) press the Window's key and R at the same time to open the DISCLAIMER: I don't know if this is still true in the current version of Minecraft, but the spawns might be a little messed up. Hopefully this answers your question. Since I have no idea what OS you have or what version of Minecraft your using, this might not be exactly correct for you. Sorry :( |
