Arqade is a question and answer site for passionate videogamers on all platforms. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I recently just started playing FFXIV, but I only play maybe three or four days a month. :( I'd also like to add that I want to play a wider variety of games, but I only have time to play one at a time, and so I only get a new game maybe every six to nine months. I have a lot of responsibilities, but I want time to play some games. How do you all make time?

Looks like you ran into the "being an adult" stage in life :) and although I empathize, I really think this question is far too subjective to be valid on our site. Everyone has his or her own way to manage the time, whether for gaming or for any other leisure activity or hobby. –  Oak Oct 18 '10 at 12:20

Is there a place where we could discuss questions like these if not in this site? I found this question to be deeply interesting because I have been a hardcore gamer my entire life and now I dont get time to play anymore. This is a question I ask myself so many times. Couldn't we discuss questions like these if it was marked as community wiki? –  Mugen Oct 18 '10 at 20:09

@Mugen I think it's just way too personal, but I might be wrong and I see where you're coming from. Please open a question about it on our meta site, we could see what the community at large thinks. –  Oak Oct 20 '10 at 5:43

Time Management is the keyword. And there's an abundance of literature out there (in print and online).

It's not really a topic that fits this site, so you may want to look at a different one. Area51 has this proposal, which you might want to commit to regarding this topic.

Otherwise, just look through Amazon for books on time management, productivity, etc. A popular technique seems to be Getting Things Done. But it's just one out of many.
