I'm attempting to case mod an Xbox 360 slim and running into some design issues(this is my first engineering project). Since it will be difficult for me to obtain access to a CNC mill, I have resorted to the idea of using a briefcase. Being that it is a slim I want to refrain from using a bulky case(such as a Pelican 1490) and make it under 17 inches. How small of a case can I buy?

This question seems easily self-answered... A measuring tape would pretty much solve your problem. – Fluttershy Nov 8 '12 at 14:08
How? I've yet to take it apart, and I can't now because I don't have it yet. I'm trying to create blueprints. – Mysteriousness Nov 8 '12 at 15:27
@Stacks, I think this might be our first question about physical modding of console cases. While our topic technically covers this area, we don't have a proven track record and actually might be short on people able to answer your question. You might want to start looking for your answer on other websites :( – badp Nov 8 '12 at 16:15
