Well, I just started an assassin type character in Skyrim, and before I put too much time into it, I wanted to confirm a couple of things.

  1. Can the Shrouded Gloves be disenchanted? I prefer the Nightingale set for its slightly higher armor rating, but I also want that 2x backstab multiplier from the Shrouded Gloves without losing the Matching Set perk bonus.
  2. Do Whirlwind Sprint and Elemental Fury work if I'm already under the effect of slow time?

Actually, I thought of this as a way to deal with dragons. Just run around till they land, Slow Time, Whirlwind Sprint up to their face, Elemental Fury and start smacking them. Am I doing anything wrong?

Hi @Shirish, welcome to the site. If you have two separate questions, ask them separately. You'll get better answers, and probably more reputation as a result! – fredley Jan 3 '13 at 11:20

Shrouded Gloves cannot be disenchanted. In fact, very few attributes can. It's usually safe to assume that if there's a unique item with a unique enchantment, it can't be disenchanted.

Using one keeps you from using any for an amount of time, depending on the shout and how much of it you say. Once you advance the plot enough, you'll have a single shout that does something very comparable to dragons, however... – agent86 Jan 3 '13 at 13:05
