I am trying to get the "Combat Engineer" ribbon in Horde 2.0 mode of Gears of War 3. The gears wiki says
Combat Engineer: Build, repair, and or upgrade 5 fortifications during wave-half time.

Horde Mode - why am I unable to choose difficulty settings in a public match?
I noticed that difficulty settings are only present when setting up a private match. Why are there no difficulty settings on public matches like there are for Arcade Mode?

'Beta' medal - Can the game be completed to 100% without it?
The medal "Beta Tester - Participated in the Beta" is locked for me as I did not take part in the beta tests. Does this mean that I cannot complete the game to 100%?
