Can I omit certain lines from the Feed The Beast console?

In PS3 Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (RSV2), why am I unable to observe the game when hosting a dedicated match?
I would like to be able to at least watch the game, since I can't play when I am hosting a dedicated server in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on PS3. So why can't I observe? Is there any way around this?
