It's seems that ranks continue past elder bejewellian. It seems that the rank level names of Bejeweled 3 are identical to the ones of Bejeweled Blitz: Novice Apprentice Trainee Beginner Amateur Jr. Appraiser Appraiser Gem Polisher Gem Scraper Gem Grinder Jewel Thief Jewel Scavenger Gem Scrounger Jr. Gemfinder Gemfinder Master Gemfinder Jr. Jewelkeep ...
The primary answer here is speed, but there's more to it than that. Keep your speed up, making matches, so you'll continue to receive an ever increasing speed bonus. Your goal here is to get to the x1000 speed bonus where every match creates an explosion (and the gems flash) - but any speed is better than no speed at all. Make matches from the bottom up, ...
Turns out it is possible to run out of moves in Blitz. It's not easy, it's not common, and Blitz really does seem to try and ensure that you have a move available at all times. But like any algorithm, it's not perfect. It's happened to me at least four or five times since I posted this question. When you click the "hint" button, nothing will highlight -- ...
If you match two hypercubes it will clear the entire board. I think the same thing happens if you match 3, however I'm not positive on that one.
I've played on facebook and my high score is ~1.2 million. Besides speed, the major factor contributing to super high score is the multiplier. A 8X multiplier at end game means you'll get 8X more score, which is more feasible physically than playing 8X as fast. Luck plays a big part too, I could play a perfect game with a couple blazing speeds runs but end ...

There is no AI cheating itself in those games kind, it's just a matter of luck. Also you could get a perfect board with a move that could trow a quadrillion of point ... and move the wrong gem. Those game a too "dumb" to enhance that king of complex AI behavior.
Speed it is mate. Try to go faster then the diamonds are destroyed and of course look out for 4 or 5 in a row which you give you bonuses where you can rest your eyes for a few seconds.
I Played on iPhone and my highest score is 698K. There is no tactics but your speed, you need to look all across the screen to get the possible either 3, 4 or 5 of a same kind. Enjoy playing guys!!!
Yes I even saved the screen where it was impossible to move just kept asking for hints until the clock ran out!
If you do a 4 block match horizontally or vertically, you make a bomb. If you make a T or L shape of one color, you make a lightning piece that acts as you noted. It is useful when you're running out of options, to clear part of the screen away, to get more pieces--it's also useful in creating combos at times from falling pieces. T shape: X X X X ...

It seems to only appear when you reach 4 times multiplier, as you increase in multipliers it disappears and the scenery changes, I have noticed it change to a purplish color
Once any rare gem has been harvested, its effect is added automatically to your next game. It lasts for one game only, however after the game is completed you are offered the same gem again at a small discounted "streak price" for the next game. The boosts you chose are not affected by the harvesting of a rare gem and combining the two can provide powerful ...
May 31, 2014. This is a screen cap of my game at 20 plus sec remaining (start time..by time I hit Prnt Scrn obiously shorter).
It does happen. Done it to me several times and yes, mostly if I'm running at blazing speed.
I've had it happen so many times now..usually when I'm playing the game really fast. I suppose it just doesn't work out that the next jewels it gives will leave the player with no moves sometimes.
You cannot run out of moves in Bejeweled Blitz (the HINT button will always show you a match). This is because each gem that falls is specifically chosen so that this never happens. It CAN happen however, that your only move is the newest gem(s) that just fell, so it's very possible that you are stuck working at the very top (low points) for a long time ...
