Sid Meier's Civilization V (also referred to as Civilization V, Civilization 5, Civ V or Civ 5) is a turn-based strategy game encompassing all of human history. Players attempt to take a fledging civilization from 4000BC to modern times and lead their civilization to victory through domination, science, culture or diplomacy.
Developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games, Civ 5 game was released on the 21st (North America) or 24th (Rest of World) of September 2010 for Microsoft Windows, with a Mac OS X version reportedly due out sometime towards the end of 2010.
