The only thing you need to do is pay attention to the speed limits on the road signs at the side of the road. The signs are round with red edges and a number in the middle. Once you know the speed limit, just keep your truck's speed under the limit by checking the speed-o-meter or top-left corner of the navigator. While driving in the UK, these numbers ...

You can remove the speed limiter from the gameplay settings by unticking "Truck Speed Limiter": You need patch 1.4.1 or higher to use this setting. If you're using an earlier patch, there are mods that let you do this: http://euro-truck-simulator-2-no-speed-limit-mod.en.softonic.com/ http://ets2mods.org/2013/03/no-speed-limit/

55 mph is the speed limit for trucks in most European countries. What you are doing wrong is speeding. You can see the full list for speed limits in the Wikipedia article for speed limit. Here are some examples: Germany: 80-100 kph (49-62 mph) Italy: 70-80 kph (43-49 mph) Poland: 70-80 kph (43-49 mph) Austria: lorries with heavy trailer - 80 kph (49 mph) ...

At first you will begin audibly yawning. Once this phase passes the screen will begin getting darker and the word dozing will appear in the middle of the screen every now and again. The yawning will get increasingly more frequent. The text will change to "You are tired! You should find somewhere to park and rest!". The dozing screens will get longer the ...

Nope there is no option to take a nap. That is why it is important to plan your route ahead including any rest stops before hand. Especially for those 20 hour trips. The only partial rest you can hope to get is if you get to ride the ferry on your route. This will rest you up for that amount of time. Other than that there is no other way. Also if you are ...

ADR class 6 and class 2 have the highest payout for some types of cargo (ex: acid, which has a price coefficient of 2.20). However, because ADR deliveries only have a single level, they're not the way to make more money. Heavy cargo has (in general) a higher price coefficient than fragile cargo. Since you can increase your % bonus by leveling these up, with ...

The road blocks on the cities allow the producers to reduce the size of the cities without making them look small and have a "wall of buildings" around it. You can see there is "more city", making the game look more realistic.

I did an experiment, but I couldn't find such a short route. Here's what I chose: It's 511km on land and 370km by ferry, which of course come together as 881km after I attached the trailer: And here's the job completed screen with the reward details: My base reward was €15,813, long distance bonus €1,421, which is 8.9%, in terms of XP: base 516, long ...

The fastest truck in Euro Truck Simulator is the Scania R730. With 730Hp, it is the most powerful engine in Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is the most expensive one from Scania (and the game), costing 212.430 Euros. You can buy it in Milano (Italy), Hannover (Germany) or Manchester (England). (Maybe you can buy it in another stand, I didn't search them ...

Shortly after you've passed the time when the game says it's time for rest (F6 menu) it will begin charging you 150 euro every few minutes until you sleep. Not a big deal if you have an empire, but if you're still getting established it's worth knowing. The only time you should drive while tired is when taking a rest break would cause you to deliver your ...

Productivity pretty much goes up with time. I haven't found any other answers to this. As your drivers get more and more experienced, they get more and more jobs which makes more money. Productivity is pretty much the money your garage makes based on how much a fully equipped garage should make. Upgrading your trucks and having good drivers are the most ...

It improves aerodynamics when pulling high (tall) cargo's, but I'm not sure if the game would simulate that, as there are numerous useless, just for visual enjoyment upgrades. It doesn't unlock anything and doesn't have any additional features, so... yeah...

The Volvo F16H (750 HP) have the highest HP. you will find it in Volvo's big showroom......its a heavy duty truck, but not the fastest, if you are looking for fast truck, you should take the Scania R730.

The fastest is the truck from Volvo, the globetrotter XL. It gets unlocked at Level 16, it has 750 horsepower and produces a torque of 3500nM.

I play lots of ETS. The delivery range provides information on the earliest time, given optimal conditions, that you would be able to deliver the cargo. The latter time, as you pointed out, was the deadline, where arriving afterwards incurs a penalty. I have not noticed any particular bonus for delivering earlier - other than not being late. I think the ...

From what i have found they do have an influence although not a very strong one on traffic as follows, btw this was done through my own testing which i can produce video for if needed. indicators don't influence in any way the cars which are directly behind you They sometimes influence cars in the lane next to you, this is most prominant if your lane is ...

Here is my analysis of pros and cons of owning your truck and company - Driving own truck Pros Higher Payout per distance Free Roam and explore capability. Cons Fuel and Damage Costs Rest meter does not refresh between deliveries. So since you are at a very early level you would not be driving long trips. So rest factors do not affect you yet. But ...

You're doing nothing wrong! There are usually white coloured boards warning about cameras ahead, after that, slow the truck down till you pass a cube like thing on the road, that's the camera. Once you pass it, you're fine! Usually the camera warnings are with speed limit boards before them, so you know how much to speed it down.

Okay, I downloaded a player profile with some play money (1 billion Euro, all skills maxed) and did some testing. I bought the smallest cabin and chassis and took a screenshot of the available jobs. Then I upgraded to the medium sized cabin, took a screenshot again, upgraded to the large cabin, took another screenshot. Same with the chassis. Afterwards I ...

Question 1: How exactly does time pass in ETS2? Sleeping If you go to your garage (usually at certain gas stations too), you can stop your engine and sleep for around half a day. However, you can only do it 3 times at once before it removes the option for a little while. Switching Trucks If you have 3 trucks and 2 other drivers, go into the Truck Manager ...

It can all depend on how slow you drive, how much fuel you use, or how much damage you receive. If you arrive late, you can lose money, too. I hope this helps.

Here are all the agencies on the map. Note: The ones from the DLC are missing.

In short - No it's not possible. I had the same problem and at Steam Forum people also confirmed that. Your created character is fixed to your the base you selected at the start. You can quick jump between garages you own, but you can't change your homebase.

The Scania R730, with 730 horsepower, is the highest. It is unlocked at level 25 and you can buy it in Milano (Italy), Hannover (Germany) or Manchester (England) for 212.430 Euros.

For official DLC will be automatically activated and you should see the content in your game. Drive to maintenance and check your paint jobs there (not your own garage!) For mods you will need to go to your profiles, click edit and enable all of the necessary mods. You should now see the content in your game. Again, remember to check at a maintenance garage ...

All trucks can get to 130+ km/h regardless of the engine, granted some cannot get to that speed on straights. I'm still driving my starter Volvo with a 700hp engine at level 10 and have no problem reaching that speed even in straights.

In order to play music in-game your computer will need the proper codecs. Without them the game won't be able to play MP3 files (or other types of music). The K-Lite Codec Pack contains various music codecs, and can be downloaded here. You'll only need the Basic version in order to get MP3 files to work.
