Your act 1 buddies aren't really dead, they are classified as 'Missing' if you look at your buddy information.
Crouching does not affect either accuracy or recoil. Tested with a pristine AR16 (without accuracy upgrade) at a range of 20 seconds walking pace. Target was a floating tire in the marina in the south region. Fired two complete magazines at one-shot intervals, alternating between standing and crouching. Standing position scored hits on 5 rounds out of 15 ...
Firstly, why do all my buddies suddenly betray me? They are mercenaries. Meaning, that they will betray anybody for the right amount of money. The facts and lifestyle in Africa, show that most of the people living there are trapped, REALLY unselfish or up for quick cash (I of course mean the problematic part of Africa and not the safe regions like the South ...
The number indicates how many diamond cases are in the region, not the total number of diamonds. Reference: http://farcry2.wikia.com/wiki/The_Far_Cry_2_FAQ under "Finding 'loot' via GPS?"... "Note that in the top left of Zone maps there is a blue number on a black square. It tells you the total number of Diamond Cases in this Zone."
It's always possible to run out. If you do, you black out and wake up in either a church or a doctors' surgery depending on what stage in the game you're at.
No. Fortunately, Ubisoft admitted that FC2's respawn rate is absurd and FC3 should have it fixed.
Not having the game at hand right now, I think it was Reload.
I think this is how it works: If you perform all buddy missions in the north, the trucks that spawn outside your safehouses come with a M2 .50 Cal rather than a regular M-249 SAW. (The M2 is probably what you're noticing.) If you perform all buddy missions in the south, they come with a MK-19 grenade launcher. I'm not sure there's any way you can reliably ...
From the Far Cry wiki, as well as personal experience: Buddies have only 3 lives. During the fourth attempt to revive them, the player can only mercy kill them (either via syrette overdose or gunshot). If you want Josep to live, you may need to restart the mission or reload from a save further back. Long-term, you may want to start thinking about getting ...
I've just discovered that the answer is yes, she will offer it again later.
You don't say what platform you're on, but on PC you can install Dylan's Far Cry 2 Realism Mod While this doesn't stop the respawning, it makes the bad guys significantly less likely to notice you when driving through.
Same thing. There's a shootout at the bar and everyone gets killed but you. Notably, no mention of civilian deaths is ever heard if you decide to leave the church to its fate. End-of-game spoiler:
Your buddies are waiting to gun you down because they need those diamonds to pay for their freedom. There is no other way to leave that part of Africa.
I think you have to make sure you kill everyone in that area before you can get in to save the foreigner. Make sure they're actually dead. Sometimes they drop and then crawl themselves into a corner, and sit there with their Pistol across their lap. Walk around the area - check in all the buildings and along walls etc. When you get close, they'll try and ...
I am not aware of any way to change the quicksave function to what you want. In the end, I just used the quicksave function whenever I felt it necessary and then before quitting the game, I would just delete all but the most recent save game. Clunky, yes, but it was the only way I could play without needing to fiddle with the menu each time I wanted to ...
The guides on GameFAQs mention no accuracy gain when crouching, but it seems to reduce noise and make you less noticeable in general.
I don't think it has to do with your progress but you have to unlock the south area first i think then If it has a long barrel that is The M2.50 cal if the barrel is short that is the M-249 Saw (which can be purchased at gun shops. If the gun has a large magazine box (the green thing which houses the ammunition) that is the Mk-19 Grenade launcher. And you ...
After pushing every button (and killing myself with an accidentally-thrown grenade) I discovered that the correct button is "reload". Pressing reload while having the map open will change the zoom in Far Cry 2.
its R OR your customized reload button
