It's a lot easier to try to get multiple things at once. For example, I once got 2000 experience for doing all of the following:
Killstreak (kill 5 or more people in a row within at least half a second second1 of the other kills)
Butcher (like Killstreak , but with stabbing)
Multikill (kill 5 or more as the round starts)
another killstreak.

You won't show up on the radar with assassin on but everytime you fire with your unsilenced weapon you appear as a red dot. It's wise to use silencers when using Assassin because it defeats the purpose if you don't.

The SAM Turret is used for clearing the skies of enemy killstreaks, it does not add to your pointstreak. Using it does give you XP though and after calling in a certain amount of SAM Turrets you complete the challenge "Keeping Em' Down".

SAM Turrets will attempt to take down any Aerial Killstreak including the Recon Drone in its sights except the stealth bomber, precision airstrike and predator missiles.
