Oddly enough, I just did the "White Phial" quest today. The Unmelting Snow (as you probably know) is used for the "Reapiring the Phial" quest that comes after you finished the White Phial quest. Try storing the Unmelting Snow in a chest or something and then talking to Nurelion and Quentis.

Alteration To easily level Alteration, purchase the Telekinesis spell from Tolfdir at the College of Winterhold. To gain access to the College of Winterhold you will need to complete a quest called First Lessons. Once you have the Telekinesis spell, just drop an item to the ground and keep bringing the item to yourself. You will get skill experience ...

Have you tried the 'resurrect' command? Using this command brings any NPC back to life. To do this, open up the command screen. Then click on a dead guard so it will show his model number. Then type resurrect then their model number (i.e. resurrect 10248190). They should come back to life. Hope I helped

Yes u can Become a werewolf within the base game by doing two main quest missions and then two Radiant quests for the companions, I am unsure whether or not random werewolf attacks give you the disease of lycanthropy, but , I do know for definite that with the dawngaurd DLC, You can become a vampire way easier due to the more concurrent vampire attacks, That ...

I belive you used the wrong Quest ID when you restarted the quest. The Jagged Crown can be done by either faction however on the Unoffical Elder Scrolls Page we can see there are 2 different Quest IDs with the same numbered stages (excluding the unknown ones) Stormcloks = CW02B Imperials = CW02A On the Wikia you can also see in Quest ID the 2 different ...

There are two ways you can see your whole character Leave the game on for a while without moving or touching any of the controls, if you wait long enough, the camera will rotate around your character, allowing you to see your character from all sides and many angles To do this method you must sheath your weapons/spells/hands and stand still. Then you will ...

A fortify carry weight potion enables fast travel for any distance (as long as the potion's effect gets you beyond the level of being encumbered). The distance/time covered by the travel can be arbitrarily long, even longer than the potion's duration.

In the Vanilla game, your hands are bound for quite a while, until either Ralof or Hadvar releases you. Problems with alternate start mods, is that you won't get that event. To solve this, un-sheath and re-sheath your weapon (or hands). Your mouse controls should work after doing this.

You should type in "help highborn" and see what results you get. Navigate using Page Up and Down, and look for the spell, shout, or power, depending on what you want to remove. Try it again with the code that's listed there. If that doesn't help, research the spell via Google or so, and see what ID's are listed there.

Alright, first you need to pick a starting location. Go here: www.uesp.net choose a location there, and copy the code to the location. This'll be your starting area. Eg, Valthume. Good alternate start as an adventurer who wandered in there for treasure. Now open Skyrim.ini (NOT SKYRIMPREFS!!!), this is usually here - C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My ...

There's a (free) mod called Live Another Life which gives you a number of starting options - one of which is to start as a bandit. This sounds like it'll be exactly what you are looking for. From the mod's readme: Outlaw in the Wilds You will begin as a member of a group of bandits. For the sake of variety, the group of bandits will be chosen at ...

It can be done. Mods from the Workshop are just like mods from any other site except they are directly dropped into your data folder. But because of the way Steam Workshop updates mods, you will need to pay attention to a few things: Skyrim Launcher will check your Workshop subscriptions every time it's launched and merged ESPs would cause the launcher to ...

As Dispensador suggested, I created a mod that disables the dialogue lines. It is available for download at Skyrim Nexus and disables all vanilla dialogue used by guards that gave me the feeling the guard knows I'm in the Dark Brotherhood when he (in my opinion) should not know it.

Yes, drinking a potion that fortifies your carry weight will allow you to fast travel, provided that you do so before the effect expires and the potion's effect is strong enough such that while under its effect you are no longer over-encumbered. I've done this myself numerous times.

There are several ways to attain Daedric weaponry, one is through the Daedric quests: A list of all the Daedric quests A description of the Daedric quests Another way is through smithing. You will need to be at least level 90 in the Smithing skill to make it yourself, but if you are level 45-50 (overall) you will start finding them as loot (very rare) ...

While the question asks "How to Level Magic Skills as a Warrior" the reason why you ask this, as stated in the question body, is because you want to get to Level 80. It seems to me that to get to level 80 I will need to level all my skills to 100. Easier said than done though. As a non-magic-using warrior, how can I level my various magic skills? ...

I think that if you get a follower you can hit them (not until they get halfway) and let them heal btw use healing hands to make it faster

This sounds like a major issue, I dont know the console commands, but if you can find them you should be able to force yourself further into the storyline. Since it isnt progressing naturally, a setstage command should do the trick. I have read through the wiki page's bug section for the area you're stuck in and nothing like it was mentioned. One of the ...

Tricks for removing spiderwebs/cobwebs in Skyrim! Firstly, yes, it will remove them if you buy the decorations. I tried those at first but you can't remove the light from the candles on the plates even if you remove the candles, which looks weird. So I set out to remove every one of those crummy little webs (and random crates) manually [using the console] ...

The short answer is yes. Some followers, like Vilkas or Lydia are painfully bad at Sneaking. If you try sneaking with them along they will almost always be noticed. This will pull enemies as normal. However, the game handles detection independently for you and your follower. With a high enough sneak level it is not uncommon for a follower to be noticed and ...

If you're playing on a PC, you can use a console command to spawn the scroll into your inventory, as referenced in Bugs on the UESP page for the related quest. If you're on a console, unfortunately, your only options are to return to the ...

Mod Organizer and Wrye Bash will both display missing and present Masters for mods. If you don't want to make the switch to MO (though I'd recommend it) and you don't need a bashed patch, it would still be worthwhile to download Wrye to just run every now and then to check dependencies.

If playing on the PC, the mod, SkyTweak can allow you to decrease (or increase) your experience gain rate. For example, in this screenshot of the SkyTweak settings here, I am setting the One-Handed skill experience gain rate to half of what it is originally: You might also want to see How to make Skyrim more challenging at higher character levels?

It sounds like Fortify Health where your health is temporarily boosted thanks to enchantments/effects of equipment and potions Fortify Health is an enchantment and an alchemical effect that temporarily increases the maximum health for a limited time. This would explain why your health is boosted but then after a while it drops. Salvaged/bought Fortify ...

If you have any rings or blessings set that make your level up percentage higher, this will be the factor that you should unequip or change. The only way you won't level up at all is get poisoned or run around in circles pointlessly. I get not wanting to level up. It takes a lot of fun out of the game.:)

In Skyrim, character progression is solely based on levelling skills. Having said that, there are not many ways you can do to prevent levelling "too fast". However, doing the following should slow your progress: Do not use Warrior, Mage, or Thief standing stone. These will increase the experience you gain from doing relevant thing. For example, if you have ...

Find any body of water without slaughterfish that you can easily extricate yourself from (or at least your head and hands for casting) and then emerge from the water right before drowning and heal yourself. First off, you can return the claw to either Lucan or Camilla (through conversation cues), which will complete the quest. If you are on PC, you can use console commands to complete the quest, changing the attributes of the Golden Claw to no longer quest-related, meaning you can drop, or sell the claw. As for the Dragon Rising quest, Jarl Balgruuf will ...

More information about Steam Family Sharing can be found here. On the DLC faq, on that page, it states: Who owns and can access the DLC and in-game content associated with a shared title? Ok reffering to Whiterun. If you never kill the dragon that the jarl wants you to kill. No dragons will ever appear to you in the game afterward. Ive been playing for 30 levels I believe with no dragon encounters. Also you may not kill the first dragon which I believe is alduin, until you go into savengard...correct my spelling...on a special dragonborn ...

Ruling out any Mods, the answer is unknown. Even after the player ends the Civil War there is no way to cause a meeting of the Moot. Without the Moot, there is no TRUE High King. Both Elisef and Ulfric point out that without the Moot's decision, there is no King. Of course, part of the reason for the Civil War is to put Jarls friendly to your cause in charge ...

My first character was just a leveling up fiend and the same thing happened to me as to you. I got too powerful and the game lost its appeal. One of the ways I've found useful to play Skyrim is to play using a set character theme in mind. Some examples from my play are; a Barbarian that won't use any magic other than heal and wields a two-handed sword ...

As per the comments, Maven Black-Briar is an "essential" character, meaning their is no way (outside of console commands) to kill her off. She plays a part in several other quest-lines, namely the Thieves-Guild and the Dark Brotherhood, aligning herself with the "darker" side of Skyrim. The only quest that causes any harm to her persona is to go see a man ...

Personally, I put about 18 hours into skyrim before it really started acting up. After that, it would just crash to desktop every 5-30 minutes, and/or I would get this glitch where a great deal of the landscape and enemies would turn a violet colour. The first fix I found was the sound tweak, which of course did nothing, but was probably worth doing anyway. ...

Yes. The save files are independent of your steam account. As James has mentioned, your saves are stored in your "Documents\my games\skyrim\saves" folder. Let's say you and your brother each have your own computers, but you were playing games on the same account (that of your brother). Then your brother will have his own saves on his computer that are ...

2

You can indeed, they are just files. You WILL have to pick and choose your files to get the ones that are yours but by default Skyrim stores the save game files at this path: C:\Users\James\Documents\my games\Skyrim\saves Now clearly you are going to have to replace the James part with the name you use on the computer but its just that simple. Basically ...

Not really what you're asking for, but the Character creation overhaul allows you to choose your "major" and "minor" skills, similar to older TES games. What this means is that major skills are the most important for levelling, then come minor, then not chosen. This allows you to spec your character(s). I suggest choosing as major and possibly minor some ...

In order for it to work on NPC, it has to be hostile ( don't really know that, its just somthing that has been repeated in sevreal websites ) and what it doesent tell you is that u must hold the shout butten. When u tap it ur avatar will only say the first word, same with unreailing force.

In completion to the other answers : If anyone is just next to the item you want to steal, you should try to move it in a safer place for stealing. To do so, you simply need to keep the action key pressed so you can move it elsewhere.

It's simply the (player-visible) "display name" of the activator. It could literally be any text without changing what the stone does. It's very likely that the stone is a left-over from the development time, (originally) with some code on it helping with debugging the area or quests running in it. You'll know for sure when you open the level in the ...

Shalidor's Insight is found at a radiant location. At least one possible location is on Solstheim, the island that is added with Dragonborn DLC, and which can only be accessed by a boat that docks near Windhelm. If the quest marker is nowhere on the Skyrim world map, check Solstheim. There is a long list of possible locations. The wiki page gives ...

The main way to steal in Skyrim is to actually do it while their not looking. An easy guide to stealing: Make sure their not looking, OR, this indicator: Which should look like -.- meaning that your hidden.
