Both persuading the guard to let you in and persuading Sibbi to give you the key are Easy speech checks. They require 25 speech or 18 with the persuasion perk.

There is a vampire cave if you head east into the mountains after leaving Helgan. Should be the road to Iverstead. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Haemar's_Shame

Fortify Magicka and Fortify Health Regeneration are great combo's to put on items for Blood Mages. Also choose a Fortify Restoration potion before choosing the Atronach. This highly increases your magicka pool and freezes your magicka regeneration entirely which in this case is good; you relie on your Health to use your spells and this way you are more ...

I firmly believe there aren't, it is a "railroad" quest until you get to the ruins. The wiki also doesn't mention anything of the kind. The only note is that if you talk to Calcelmo you can enter after killing the spider, if you don't there's an adept lock keeping the door shut.

Adding to Studoku's answer : materials are Iron Ingots and basic Iron equipment which becomes available for pickup near his forge. If you are willing to steal they are easy to get ( as well as the steel ingots lying right beside them .. just saying) and if you value the resting place, then siding with Ralof can be considered the better choice.

You can also leave for awhile and come back in a month 30 days and they will not be hostile and pay or serve your sentence

I believe "eclipse" in that context means that the sun was temporarily blotted out because the player character shot at it using Auriel's Bow and Bloodcursed Elven Arrows. You can get Auriel's Bow as a reward for the quest, Touching the Sky.

You can always have enchantments to decrease the cool-down. but if your not being attacked and doing it just for fun shouting around, you can wait 1 hour after you shout, this lets you use summoning shouts infinitely as well. you can even evade the cool-down for storm call and Odaviing shouts.

3

No, the game collects all the XP and triggers all level ups when you enter the skilltree screen. I personally have never heard of a mod that would allow that either

It seems to be a problem with running skyrim on a laptop. If that's the case, the only solution I've been able to find in to get another usb keyboard to connect to your laptop. If you're not playing on a laptop, or can't get a usb keyboard, then I honestly have no other solutions. I've been trying to find a solution to this as well.

In terms of mods, there's Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers (and Stones of Barenziah DROPPABLE plus Quest Markers). Once it's activated, check the world map.

Yes, easily. Enter the cave from the back-end, at the end of the road at the base of the mountain-atop-which-lays-the-Thalmor-Embassy. http://imgur.com/a/fqdaC

Day begins at 5am and ends at 7pm regardless of weather or the visibility of the sun. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Vampirism#Weakness_to_Sunlight That makes 14 hours of sunlight; 10 hours of night-time.

The only other way seems to be by keeping track of the "Training Sessions" statistic of GENERAL of GENERAL STATS.

1

There is no way to check how many times a particular skill has been trained at a trainer without visiting a trainer of that skill. The only surefire way of knowing is to simply level up to reset that cap back to 5 (but then you wouldn't get to capitalize on those uses!).

Tested on my system (Windows 8.1 Pro, AMD Phenom II X6 1075T (3GHz), 12GB RAM, GTX780, game and OS on same SSD), character was the default character the game gives you if you use coc command in main menu (full iron armour equipped). Test results Waiting Waiting takes 22 seconds for every 20 hours, which would make waiting 720 hours take 13 minutes and 12 ...

2

The longest fast-travel route, Markarth-Riften, takes 24 hours wearing light armour. Which is quicker depends on how long the loading screen lasts. Waiting 24 hours takes about 30 seconds so if you can open the menu, fast travel and get through the loading screen faster, it's faster to do that.

go smithing enchanting and heavy armor. enchant armor pieces for stamina, health, mag resist, one hand dmg. chant weps with drainlife and drainstam and when u max chanting add chaos to each of those if u have dragonborn dlc, maybe minor in alchemy for some extra healing when needed, get either steed stone or heavy armor perk for same basic ...

Roleplay/story factors aside, the main gameplay differences between the two are the gear you'll get access to during the Unbound quest, and the amenities and items you'll get in Riverwood. If you plan to wear Heavy Armor and use One-handed Weapons, Ralof's a good choice - but if you plan to start levelling Smithing and/or use a Two-Handed Weapon, Hadvar ...

-2

If you follow Ralof you get heavy armor right away but if you follow Hadvar you get two handed weapon right away

3

The only differences are the route you take out of Helgen and the encounters there (side with Hadvar and you'll fight Stormcloaks, side with Ralof and you'll fight Imperials). There are also slightly different rewards if you choose to follow them to Riverwood. Hadvar's uncle Alvor will give you free materials if you went with him whereas Ralof's sister ...

You have to do radiant quests with Delvin and Vex until you are asked to do a reputation question for the major holds. Once you complete all of the reputation quests you can then move on to the final quest and be made Guild Master. For more information on the reputation quests you can find a list of them, and all other thieves guild related quests, here: ...

See the bugs listed on this wiki page. Apparently weapons can fall down, disappear, move etc using weapon racks. Even a bigger problem, the staff of magus is a known bugged item on weapon racks. If you are playing on the pc, there are some dodgy solutions, but they focus more on weapon racks that are not usable, not the disappearing weapons. You could use ...

You can and must do "Season Unending" regardless of whether you side with the Imperials or Stormcloaks and whether the Jarl is Balgruuf or Vignar has taken over. The only exception to this is if you fully complete the civil war questline (Either taking Solitude as the Stormcloaks or Windhelm as the Imperials) and end the war that way. Once you've done this ...

0

Vignar will in fact help you capture Odahviing. However, I advise doing the civil war quest AFTER the main quest line. This makes sure nothing is broken. It also gives you only one thing to worry about. Skyrim is a complicated game, and a multitude of sequences can break others. If Vignar doesn't want to help you, make sure you are a Thane in Whiterun. ...

2

There are several reasons why he might suddenly be attacking you. They are: You have unknowingly become a stage 4 vampire or a werewolf. There is a bounty on your head. Lastly, a more obscure reason is that you have stolen goods before and have never been caught. If your reason is the last, then it takes more than a few "disease-curing potions" to fix ...

0

You need to do two things: start being more selective about what you pick up and sell what you've already picked up. I'm surprised you have made it to level 49 and are still storing things in Riverwood. You need to stop doing that. Go to Whiterun and buy Breezehome from the Jarl's steward. Then go to the stables outside of Whiterun, buy yourself a horse, ...

3

In Skyrim there is a difference between magic resistance and elemental protection. Magic resistance reduces the effect of magic by a certain percentage. This is not limited to damage. For example it also reduces the duration of Paralyze spells. Elemental protection reduces the damage from a specific element (magical or non-magical source). Different ...

There should be a lever directly on your right that opens the gate:

on pc press space bar, on xbox press y, on playstation press triangle, of course the skill needs to hit 100 first, you can do this an unlimited amount of times, to all of the skill potentially removing level cap from the game

2

Just like Arperum said in the comment section, you can't do much in werewolf form. Especially go into a town or try to join the Dawnguard. Reload a previous save file, don't be a werewolf and join the Dawnguard. If you are given a mission to kill someone, you can do THAT in werewolf form, but no interaction with NPC's will go successfully.

1

The only way you can tell if you gained any xp is first to find out how much skill usage (i.e. xp) it takes you to get to the next level of sneak. You can do this via trial and error using the command (save first): player.advskill sneak (number) Once you figure out the exact number (lets say its X), you can then reload your save and proceed with your ...

Kill an enemy, then walk around a corner. Set your controller upside down once you're hidden while sneaking, and the dead enemy can't see you, keep your controller upside down with your guy walking into a corner and the analog pushed up. Then sit back and watch a movie while your level goes from 15 to 100.

In fact, bandits have spawned inside my house. And giants, wolves and bandits outside. I don't know if it's a glitch or something, but the answer to the question is a solid YES.

-1

Try removing and re-adding the workbench, and then look in misc. They should be there, otherwise reloading is the only option.

4

These files save the persistent data of mods created with the Skyrim Script Extender that need to save extra data not part of the standard save file.

If you have Steam theirs a mod called The Paarthurnax Dilemma by Arthmoor. That lets you talk the blades out of killing him.

13

They go back to where you originally got them from. The only exception to this I think is Frost who will go to Merryfair Farm. Taking him from this location will not be considered theft or alter the guards.

0

If you're on PC you can try entering the Development Console (~ key), selecting the NPC by clicking on him/her, and running disable followed IMMEDIATELY by enable. DO NOT CLICK ANYWHERE ELSE! This forces the NPC to reload and restart his/her script. If on XBOX or PS, you're dead. You MIGHT be able to reload from a save.

I know it is a 2012 question, and I know what everybody said, but I will add my two cents here, for future reasons. First thing, you must understand that it is wrong to say this method "does not work at all". You have to understand how Steam look for achievements, and as far as I know, this implementation may vary from game to game. Example: I once had a ...

I'm a little late to respond, but here's what I did. I'm a lvl 26 Wood Elf, and I mainly use one-handed weapons, though I use a few spells every now and again. At the beginning of the battle, before I even got off the bridge between the College and the town, I used my Dragon Aspect Shout. I also used Oakflesh and Conjure Familiar and used the Sanguine Rose ...

I couldn't use the patch, and I wasn't stealthy enough, so I tried sheathing the weapon. It turns out that you can't just turn up with your weapon sheathed - they still attack, and you need to send your followers away, or else they get involved and a fight occurs. So what you need to do is arrive alone with your weapon out, and when you are attacked, ...

I like to go outside Falkreath. Plenty of wildlife for me. And if you want to easily sneak up on an animal, on your way up to High Hrothgar read every single tablet and it will give you the Voice of the Sky. This allows you to be able to walk near animals without having them run away so its so much easier to sneak up on them.

This bug has not been fixed by anything, however there is an alternative method in which you could use which may restore some of the item's value - however this can only work if you have unlocked master conjurations spells as it requires you to cast Dead Thrall. Kill someone first, then store your enchanted items in them. Afterwards, cast Dead Thrall, and ...

If you're referring to how many character saves: As many as your harddrive has room for. If you're referring to followers: Generally the rule stops at two. One follower, and one Dog (or Troll, depending on your DLC). However this is fairly fluid as there are quests in which you automatically gain a follower, and will stay with you to the mission end. And, ...

Ok, so I figured out what all this stuff is for (thanks to @Ids for the answer to get me started) : It is to create metal dragons. In the Debate hall in Blackreach, you will find a book in the side room at the top of the stairs. That book is a "Construction Schematic" for metal dragons. The book will tell you to go to Tower of Mzark to find Mzark for the ...

For PC. An easy solution related to all perks, so you can basically recreate your char: This mod will remove all perks and add the right ammount removed as perk points: Ishs Respec Mod If there remain any perks after the above mod being used, use the console to remove them (as explained by Arkive post, you can even create a bat file to make it easier ...

Sort of. If you activate the Dawnguard DLC, random vampire attacks will occur all over Skyrim, often killing many non essential NPCs. However, there are mods you can install to prevent such attacks. The hearthstone dlc doesn't add much invasive things. The Dragonborn dlc may add some dialog, but not everyone will talk about it. However it also triggers ...

From: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/796633-skyrim-immersive-creatures/?p=8839372 Seems you need to look for the auditorium in Blackreach. Looking at the map I cannot find something that looks like an auditorium. Perhaps it is the debate hall. From: http://www.ilbe.com/1727226282 Seems you also need a cube and a book. (And cannot translate ...

You don't NEED to kill her. The other option is to pickpocket your stuff back. To make it easier to pickpocket, gain the perk poisoned, pickpocket enough of her stuff to reverse pickpocket a paralysis potion, and pickpocket her while she gets back up. This will cause a 100% chance of pickpocketing all of her items even if there's a 0% chance of getting the ...
