In bleak falls barrow, I crouch behind a rock, and use destruction magic against the rock. The bandits will come searching for you, but won't be able to find you. As long as you are sneaking, sneak will level.

There's an answer to this question: Why can't I buy the Windhelm house (Hjerim)?. In your case, you may have completed Blood on the Ice (but check the spoilers for that quest to be sure...) But this quest is not necessary either for purchasing the house or for becoming Thane of Eastmarch. To become thane, you must join the civil war and complete one of the ...

He should respawn in 20-25 in-game days at the place of death. It's a pain, I know, but that horse makes dragon fights easy!

Sometimes when you have a large bounty, a bounty collector will come to find you. You'll have to ask what he wants and he'll offer to pay your bounty, but for an extra price of 200 gold. But that means that you don't get your stolen items taken.

There is a mod named Ask Follower Skills (Nexus/Steam) to check out the current level and the skills of your follower. When you enable this mod, save a game and load it again you can ask the follower What can you do? and this will give the stats like that (Faendal as example): Since Skyrim patch 1.6 the level of followers scales with your level even after ...

Every follower has a certain set of skills from the start. Since Skyrim patch 1.6 the level of followers scales with your level even after you met them the first time (although most followers have a maximum). You can find the the professions and maximum levels of every follower at the UESP and wikia wikis. There is a mod named Ask Follower Skills ...

You don't buy the house from the jarl, you buy it from his steward. Additionally, when Siddgeir is jarl, you have to have complete the quest Kill the Bandit Leader from him. Once you have done so, his steward will let you purchase the land.

A third way—the first two being knocking Krosis off the mountain or fighting them the normal way—is to get Krosis caught on the rocky terrain on the brink. Krosis usually won't attack while trying to navigate the treacherous terrain and if you can herd Krosis to a good spot, Krosis will stay in one place like a sitting duck.

Appropriate player levels for quests and dungeons in general is too complex a topic, for a couple reasons, including: Quests in the main story line or in faction story lines generally have a minimum level. Enemies other than bosses have a minimum and maximum level and are scaled to player level within those ranges. Dungeons are generally scaled to player ...

Try saving your game, and killing the NPC. Now, reload your save, and you should find the problem has been fixed. This is how I solve problems like this.

Skyrim creatures and npc are leveled, so just coming back later without better gear won't change the outcome, leave the area ond do other quest or look for unique loot if you feel like "cheating", level up bow skills and get the stealth perk that increases damage when undetected, only dragons can stand more than 1-2 sneak hits in vanilla skyrim

After the initial dialogue between him and Thongor Silver-Blood, Brother Verulus can be found in the Hall of the Dead or inside Understone Keep. UESP lists his schedule as follows: He starts his day in the Understone Keep at 8am, and will wander around the Keep for the entire day, eating at noon and at 6pm, before going to sleep at midnight. He's ...

You need to go through the main quest line of the dragonborn dlc to be able to unlock it. Once unlocked you can spend a dragon soul on it by clicking 'unlock' or pressing the according key. This page on the site covers that extensively and refers to other helpful pages.

If he's already challenged you, he's at the Last Vigil, east of Shor's Stone in the Rift. If he hasn't challenged you, you can't find him. He has to find you, and he will only appear in a city. Try going to a hold capitol and spend some time wandering the streets. Perhaps avoid going on any rampages, since he seems to show up when you aren't busy with ...

Yes, they can die permanently. Followers are considered protected NPC's, meaning they cannot die unless lethal damage is given by the player (so you killed all those people, didn't you?). Once dead though, there is no special behaviour with respawning or such compared to any other npc. See this page for more information. If he did indeed die and respawn, ...

What you are looking for is a husband that is a Merchant, and there are quite a few of them. For a complete list you can go here but here are the names as they currently are in the game: Balimund Filnjar Halbarn Iron-Fur Moth gro-Bagol Quintus Navale Revyn Sadri Sorex Vinius Wilhelm I think only Halbarn requires the Dragonborn DLC, the rest are just out ...

You have to surrender to them. Do so by sheathing your weapon. If this doesn't work, draw it then sheath it again, then try to talk to a guard. Also try leaving the zone, waiting, and coming back with your weapon sheathed.

Archery as an archer or thief... face to face with a dragon even the theif should consider archery over. Also little tip, until you return with the dragonstone to whiterun you will never face a dragon.

Restoration: If you have a 100% less majicka enchantment for restoration, and use an elastic band to hold down dual-casting healing, you can just stand in front of low-level enemies to level up. The enemies will slowly chip away at your health, and you will continue healing/levelling restoration. Alternatively, cast equilibrium opinion in one hand, and ...

The werewolf transformation has a timer attached to it. When you transform you need to wait until the timer expires, before you turn back. Once transformed, the Dragonborn remains a werewolf for 2.5 minutes of real time. It is possible to extend this time by approaching a corpse and feeding on it by activating it as if looting it. This restores 50 points ...

It ignores the second value. Tested by using the following cases: Case 1 [General] sIntroSequence = sIntroSequence = BGS_Logo.bik Case 2 [General] sIntroSequence = BGS_Logo.bik sIntroSequence = In Case 1, game went straight to main menu. In Case 2 it showed the Bethesda logo before going to menu. While I couldn't say for sure if this is the case ...

According to the answers to this question, there is no way to search for the actual in-game items. My suggestion is to leave the cell and wait for 10 days to make it respawn, and then see if the page is where it's supposed to be.

The ESC key always works for me, as does the space bar. I suspect any key other than a movement, camera, or activate key will work. I've been watching some Let's Play videos where the player ends command mode by looking at the follower again and talking/activating. The fact that you tried some of these and it didn't work suggests your current save is ...

Since you used player.modav to cheat your health higher than normal, you can use the same command with a negative value to get it back down. player.modav health -1000 will lower your max health by 1000, for example.

There are Glazed Candles, which will be hard to find since they seem to be a forgotten item in the community. (Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary near Falkreath and Radiant Raiments in Solitude are two places where I have found some) There's also Ancient Traveller's Skull, Balbus' Spoon, Michaela's Flaggon, Ysgramors Soup Spoon, Aretino Family Heirloom, and the ...

This is a known display bug, where the enchanting table reads the item's base values instead of checking to see if the armor has been improved with the Smithing skill. It does not actually lower the equipment's armor rating - complete the enchantment and view the finished item and you will see the armor is still as powerful as it was before being enchanted. ...

Some speculate so, yes. And via thorough research it is easy to understand why. Cicero, being a master of disguise, could have potentially fooled the Hero into believing he was a Bosmer child. However, there are some deductions: Cicero is mad, so I believe if you were to turn down the Adoring Fan, he wouldn't be so patient. Also, you can potentially just ...

Some speculate that the Sheogorath in Skyrim is the Hero of Kvatch, your playable character in Oblivion. It makes sense if you've ever played the Shivering Isles DLC (AKA The best thing in the whole entire world). But as far as my knowledge of the lore goes, Pelagius is just a madman whose soul now belongs to the Lord Sheogorath. Not the Madgod himself, but ...

Just get sleep, as others I see have reccomended. You don't necessarily need the note, lel.

0

Unfortunately, no. But you could always just start a new character, lel. Just boost your smithing so you can have Daedric Smithing again. Also, there's a very good tutorial that'll get you to to about Level 17 before leaving Helgen, if that would help. Sorry I couldn't provide any real assistance.

On a console there is no way in the base game to become a werewolf again if you cure yourself. It is also not possible to be both a werewolf and a vampire at the same time.

For your question, If you got the skin first, you can't get the ring afterwards. However, there are some instances where you can exploit a glitch to get more than what was intended. If you (somehow) are able to load an old save before the start of the mission, you can get the ring first, then at the end of the mission, you can get the skin (from my ...

If you load a save you should be able to redo the mission however you will lose some progress. I've done this previously and it worked.

If you mean the mysterious note with an image of a hand and the words "we know", it is just a warning. It doesn't matter if you lose it. All that matters is that you received the note. You'll find out more if you get a good night's sleep.

Not if you're playing on console. Then, unless you have a recent save, you're out of luck... On PC, there are certain console commands to revive NPCs. Here's a list of console commands for PC.

Esbern is a very buggy character in Skyrim. Without mods, skipping through the quest with console commands is a good idea. Use the setstage command to skip through. For example: setstage TG08A 70 will set the quest stage to the point where you need to talk to Brynjolf in the "Trinity Restored" quest. You'll have to find out which stage to skip to in your ...

You generally have to be lv 78 and have dawnguard installed, but their are people who have encountered them anywhere in-between lvs 50 through 77. I've seen the videos but it is extremely rare and they can spawn anywhere they can spawn in whiterun, windhelm, winter hold, excetera.
