The easiest way to get money is through alchemy. Most of the alchemy merchants have alchemy tables in their shop, so you can buy ingredients, craft, sell the resulting potions, then fast travel to the next town and repeat. Be careful to avoid buying expensive ingredients like void salts, fire salts, and especially the daedra heart. Often when you fast ...

When I was playing Skyrim I had no problems with gold, but that may be due to my style of playing - I always check every chest, urn, dead bodies etc. and after returning home I have a lot of things to sell (not to mention that chests also contain gold). If you completed The Dark Brotherhood quest you can ask Night Mother for unlimited amount of assasination ...

We don't know Atronachs are a subset of the Daedra. We know from the lore book Aedra and Daedra that "Aedra" and "Daedra" are Aldermi (i.e. Elvish) words meaning "ancestors" and "not our ancestors" respectively. However, no such etymology is given for "Atronach". We also know that Atronach are also known as "Elemental Daedra" (Darkest Darkness) and the ...

Please refer to this StackExchange thread. It pretty much explains how to transfer saves from one PSN account to another on the same PS3. Quoted answer by 'YellowMegaMan' from the other thread: There's a relevant thread here about it: http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?450516-PS3-question-Copying-save-files-between-users Long-story-short: You ...

Also, a little known fact about the Stormcloak victory is that Windhelm becomes the new capital of Skyrim. This will only happen Ulfric becomes High King after Stormcloak victory (90% garentee), if not, than the capital is moved to the city were the High King once ruled as Jarl (although he/she will remain Jarl of that city). But thats only lore changes, ...

You can use a companion as portable storage with infinite space. If you go into their commands and tell them to pick something up it wont weigh a thing in their inventory.

No. I know nearly nothing about Mods and stuff, but as far as vanilla goes, you only receive repercussions (Hired thugs) for stealing things, trespassing, or murdering, but only in the case of civilians. Hope this helps.

No. Glass armor does not appear in leveled lists until you are level 36. Allegedly they can appear in boss chests or merchant inventories at around level 26. You can find a pickaxe and mine malachite from the Glacial Cave or Nchardak, assuming you could survive there at level one. However you can't craft glass armor without the requisite perk, which ...

As an answer to this question: No, you do not need to keep the mod archive files that you have downloaded. NMM seems to make a copy of these archives in the directory you setup for each game. The archives you download from the Nexus or other sites can safely be deleted.

I'll specifically address the bounty comments. Are there differences between stacking perks, stacking enchantments, and stacking a combination of the two? Yes. Perks stack multiplicatively with themselves, so for example the "Agile Defender 5" perk, which increases Light Armor rating by 100%, when combined with "Custom Fit", which increases Light ...

Install SKSE and ENBoost These two modifications combined will nearly stop the CTDs. SKSE is very important. The crashes happen because of Skyrim's memory use. Also Get Oredenador http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/? Mod smart.

If you get caught doing something, guards will take it. Then, what I do, is I just load back a save so I don't lose my stuff.

Since you are on the PC you can give yourself a key via this console command: player.additem 000F84CB 1 @Nelson is correct though, the chest is glitchy and won't restock properly so you won't miss much.

5

In your CD Case there is also a key, when installing you should be prompted to enter that key. In case that does not happen you can fill in the key manually in Steam.

I've never gotten this to work, but it's supposed to be possible to walk through walls by holding a wooden plate, because of a bug in the game. The Elder Scrolls Wiki has an article on doing this using the platter. I don't know if the wooden plate or platter works better, or if it makes any difference. Once you walk ...

If you are playing on PS3, run down the mountain until Paarthurnax's health bar disappears, then fast travel away. Even if Serena is fighting, the fast travel will stop her. If you still need to kill him, have Serena wait BELOW the fast travel line. If not, she is an eager fighter and will join in.

The question predates the release of Dawnguard, so I will assume no add-ons are installed. Vampires are weak against fire. Fire-based Destruction spells are the most direct way to exploit this, but since your character is designed primarily for Conjuration, I'd probably recommend Conjure Dremora Lord, assuming your character can cast it. If you have the ...

In Skyrim, holding the shift key will make you walk instead of the usual jog the character always does when moving. This is useful when trying to sneak past an enemy, as it makes you harder to detect. Pressing the caps lock key will toggle the walking state, but it's never really explained in game, so it confuses people who accidentally press it while ...

2

As @DanmakuGamer stated, you might've gotten the "caps lock" button pressed. This will cause you to move slow. Make "caps lock" turn off so you can run.

If you use the PC version, go ahead and press "~" to open console commands. Then type in below tcl or togglecollision. This will allow you to fly through walls. Use to map to locate the plans outside the map. You can also do a method of walking through walls using a plate. Wooden plates work the best. First hold a plate against a wall until it lines up. ...

"Diplomatic Immunity" is part of the Main Quest Line. You must first do the main quest line first. After you do the quest "Horn of Jurgen Windcaller", talk to Delphine in Riverwood and say you want an attic room. Go to the room and wait for her to come and talk to you and a quest should start. After completing "A Blade in the Dark", "Diplomatic Immunity" ...

The Elder Scrolls Wiki has an entry on Diplomatic Immunity. Diplomatic immunity is a main story quest. The prerequisite is listed in the info pane in the upper right of that wiki page. It's the quest "A Blade in the Dark". Most Skyrim questions can be solved on the wiki. If you can't find the answer on the wiki, then tell us where you looked and what you ...

A quick search claims that the light Dragonscale set would be your best bet if you're feeling a bit squishy. However, there are some other armors worth noting: Miraak's Robes With the other pieces of this set, you can get a lot of Magicka absorption. Vampire Royal Armor Found in the Castle Volkihar ruins, you should get some armor bonus from it, as well ...

This may be tedious, but you can read all of the stone tablets on the way up to High Hrothgar. There are ten stone tablets along the Seven Thousand Steps. They do not need to be read in any ...

You can use the Kyne's Peace shout which, will calm all wild animals, except frost trolls, within the range of approximately 100 paces. or you can use one of the calming illusion spells Calm, Pacify, or Harmony which prevents animals or people up to a certain level from fighting. Also, as @WillihamTotland pointed out, Courage and Rally will make the ...

You don't need to wait for the letter in order to buy the plot of land. The courier sometimes gives it to you at a random time. But you don't need the letter to buy the plot of land. First become a Thane by completing the Jarl's quests and helping people. Then, you talk to the housecarl for the plot of land. You don't need the letter about the Land.

You stand by a fireball in japhets folly and can only collect the arrows when being damaged by them. I suggest using this method on novice difficulty. And if u are ever becoming not damaged by them walk away unequip everything including armor and weapons reequip and return to the location with the original fireball that was damaging you

If your companion was a Dark Brotherhood Initiate, I'm afraid you're out of luck. According to the Dark Brotherhood Initiate discussion page on the UESP Wiki, along with some other forum threads, the Dark Brotherhood Initiates will often reset when dismissed, which resets the contents of their inventory. If you were on PC, you could get your items back by ...

You have to kill a human. Any human, including but not limited to bandits, civillians, and guards meet the criteria. DCShannon is right, but at the same time it wouldn't be a black soul, which is what you actually need. Draugrs are petty and common souls, harder creatures have better souls, and humans have black souls. Each soul corresponds to the soul gem ...

If you have the ability to make weapons with soul trap then just have an empty black soul gem and use the soul trap weapon. You can get the book in Whiterun at the Jarls keep.

Try to complete some of the vampire killing quest. My daughter had a fox and then asked to keep the dog. She now has both.

Try having her as a follower. Give her the same amulet that you married with. Next part ways and leave. Return to her and use the same option you used to marry her by rehiring her.

Go back after a few days (7-9)you can try speeding up time but do not do it in the store. Return periodically and soon the bones will be there. If they are then you have to steal them. If you have the speech perk you can sell them.

To take off the ring, either help or kill Sinding. Turn yourself into a werewolf; that removes ALL armor and jewelry. After killing the hunters then speed up time by about 4-5 hours. When you become human again the ring is removed. You can now put on your former jewelry. If the marker is stuck on the jail go to where you found Hircine and kill him. His ghost ...

I stole her key, and at night went into her house when no one was looking (you usually need to do a sneak attack for no guards to notice u) and she was getting up, so i just killed her from behind :-

Select Serana and use the stopcombatcommand. Do the same to Paarthurnax. Be sure to not leave the console between running both commands. This will remove their aggression state which should (hopefully) persist until their next altercation.

if you have a save from just before the battle occurs, then reload to it. while it isnt ideal, it means you can replay through it and try to avoid this bug occuring again. this is why you always save before you do anything in skyrim! its a buggy game so its always better to be safe than sorry

I've played my time on Skyrim [Legendary Edition] for PS3 and I actually had this glitch occur to me. Tasks that change perspective are thing like using the forge, sharpening a weapon at the ...

Skyrim has a standard screenshot function which you activate by pressing the Print Screen button, screenshots made like this will be placed in the Skyrim installation folder. If you're playing through Steam you can create screenshots by pressing F12.

After exhausting all those other options, I think you'd have to use ResetQuest on an appropriate quest to reinitiate the follower. But if you broke your save file with this mod, you're basically out of luck unless you can get a response from its creators.

2

If you are attacked by a guard, draw your weapon and sheath it again. This will be seen as a surrender by the guard and it will talk normally to you. Then you can pay the bounty just as usual.

Go back to where you first obtained Serana as a follower, she will probably be there. Followers do this thing where if you leave them waiting for long enough they will go "meh, I'm tired of this" and go back to where you obtained them, or in the case of a follower you obtained through thaneship then they will be in your house if you have a house in the city ...

First of all, I would like to agree with Lovejinder_LJ. His solution can help out lowering the loading times in game. My recommendation though is to "clean out" your Ps3.Start by finding your old games, apps, and other things that you don't use and delete them. They use up a lot of memory on your console and can affect the performance. The second thing you ...

As pointed out by @Paul and @Armadillo, this was due to me dual wielding an Orcish Sword of Scorching in my right hand while casting a healing spell in my left. It wasn't the healing spell that triggered this response, rather, it was the sword (even though it ran out of the enchantment, it still triggers this same sort of response). See here for more ...

The guards don't seem to have a trigger based on equipped spells. The trigger will most likely be due to the level of skill you have in destruction magic. Source The exactly phrase goes like this: "Destruction magic's fine, just don't go burning down any buildings."
