Completing this quest in favor of the Nords will provide you with the availability of four more favor quests, each offering a leveled amount of gold as reward. After completion of Retaking Thirsk, Kuvar will offer Heavy Armor training and Blacksmith services. Completion in favor of the Rieklings gives no monetary or item rewards. After completion you will ...

From the UESP wiki bug section on this quest: If you capture Windhelm for the Imperials before triggering the graveyard scene, the witnesses and the corpse will still show up, but the guard may not, since the Windhelm guards have been replaced by Imperial Legion soldiers. This makes it impossible to start the quest. This issue has been addressed ...

First, pull levers 1, 2 and 4. Then, push levers 4 and 2 up. Lastly, pull lever 1 down, and the door should open.

No it does not, the werewolf texture is fixed and does not change with your hair. See also: Every picture ever of werewolfs in skyrim (And the wiki I suppose, but that does not spell it out

On WIndows 8, or at least on my system, the path is C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves. Naturally, it's possible you have configured your system differently: different drive, for example. If you are using Nexus Mod Organizer and virtual profiles, you have to go to the mod organizer's folder and find your profile in the profiles folder. Each ...

I don't believe Windows 8 changes the location of the my games folder, so instructions for Windows 7 ought to work. In any case, the mod most likely does not mean to back up the literal save files, but rather to create a save of your game before the mod is installed. Any mod that uses scripts can permanently change your save file even after the mod is ...

PlayOnLinux is just a user-friendly GUI for Wine, a free implementation of Windows on Unix. When you install a game, it creates a virtual drive, which default location is $HOME/PlayOnLinux' s virtual drives/<name of the game>. In that virtual drive, the folder "drive_c" is just like "C:\" on Windows. Hence, for the steam version, the folder you are ...

An effect with a magnitude of 0.2 point actually causes a 20% ...

You can use an invisibility potion and grab all you can, or just go in sneak mode and try to get the item without getting detected, but if you try to get an item in sneak mode and you get caught, just choose "i rather die than go to jail" and you will get attacked when chat ends, you should have good equipment, and a good weapon when you wanna steal, best ...

They won't attack you more than the guards would. So, unless you feed on somebody right in front of them, or become aggressive, you will be safe. However, they won't be your allies anymore, refusing to talk to you and to give you access to their Fort.

If you are trying to play through the Blades' storyline without killing Paarthurnax, you simply can't. It's a choice you need to make in the game. It's like going with the Imperials versus the Stormcloaks. You just have to choose. Either way, you're not really missing out on much. Both the Greybeards and Esbern will give you locations of word walls. The ...

This would happen to me commonly - sometimes for primary quests, as well. In most cases, the map marker would be pointing me towards the next "level transition", say, a door that had a loading screen while I passed through. If you find an alternate path, and circumnavigate the door, the marker will still point you to the door - even if you are closer to ...

I think the easier way, on the long process, is to sell stuff to merchant. Not just expensive things but pretty much any junk you can get your hands on and can be sold. The percentage is low but it adds up. You can also try to buy and sell the items back to the merchant... you lose some money but it can be really helpful towards levelling up your skill. ...

Start a new game. Set up all the stuff basic personal preferences with your mods after quickly making a character with no customizations. Save the game and write down the number of the file. Now, whenever you want to start a new character, open the console and type showracemenu, this lets you create your character.

By far, the fastest way possible is to throw money at a Master Speech Trainer. However, if you do not have a large amount of money, you can instead make really expensive items (Alchemy, Blacksmith, Enchanting) and selling them. There are additional methods of training available.

Do you have the claw, if so did you talk to them when they were in the store, if no, they won't give the option as I found out until morning when in the store. If yes, this is a bug, waiting helps. And for dragon rising reload any saves or wait a few hours until irealeth calls you.

Nope, but as I found out on the internet if you have no one in your house and have not been there for days items could get stolen in containers. Bandits don't come to steal, just to invade.

First of all, to confirm LENOs comment, the Greenhouse is suppose to spawn butterflies. That said, there appears to be several ...

Just go to another companion and say follow me. But there's a bug that they say you already have a follower 'cause you didn't dismiss it but he\she died. Bug fix is for Farkas quest after companions quest line.

Select a guard, open console, and type paycrimegold 0 0 to avoid paying money and going to jail. You can also pay the fine by talking to a guard and get your money back. If you want your money back, type into console player.additem f number_of_coins.

No, every race will get the same downsides from vampirism, namely reduction of attributes (health/magicka/stamina, -15 in stage 1, then -30, -45 and -60 for the latter stages) and 100% reduction of regeneration for them in the sun.

2

You can't. The bow is counted as a 'two handed' weapon (but not for skill) so you can't cast a spell while doing it. This differs from Oblivion as in that game you don't put items in use against 'hands' per se, so you can cast a spell while wielding your bow.

The Thalmor Embassy one is actually a lie - it's not in the bedroom. You will find it right after you rescue that person from the Thalmor Dungeon/Barracks and getting the key to get into the doorway on the ground. It's where the Frost Troll killed the Dark Elf: that's where I found an unusual gem.

You can easily get enough points to unlock every perk: Open your console Type "set DLC1WerewolfPerkPoints to XX" (xx = the number of actual perks your Werewolf tree contains, dependent on any mods you may have installed. Vanilla has 11 total perks, Bloodmoon Rising mod has 23, etc.) And there you have it. Happy werewolfing.

The original thing for this is a couple years old, but incase anyone still looks at it what I did was just take the road from rorikstead to whiterun and I found him along the way! (Right when a dragon attacked though, he almost died)

When you collect the money for killing the emperor Nasir will send you to delvin. As leaving the sanctuary, through the door, not the secret entrance, he will appear. After some dialogue you can recruit him as a follower. If not he stays near the night mother in the santurary. Hope this helps!

If you have committed a minor crime, your best option is to yield. In Skyrim, you can yield by simply sheathing your weapon. The button depends on your platform. Computer: R PlayStation: Square Xbox: X When you yield to NPCs, they will often forgive minor crimes. If this does not work, you may have committed a larger offense. You may need to seek out a ...

Go to the Hold that owns that town, and get caught by a guard. Pay your fine or serve your time in prison to be forgiven of your crimes. Note that you'll lose your stolen items when searched. If you've progressed a certain amount in the Thieves' Guild questline, you'll be able to bribe the guard instead. This costs more than paying your fine but the ...

If you are playing on PC you can use this command: set playerfollowercount to 0 It will set your follower count to zero, and you should then be able to pick up a new follower.

If you did the companions quest line, Farkas will have a topic which will start a quest and he will be a follower replaced.

700 Mb sounds like there's an underlying issue causing a lot of bloat. Ensure that all your mods are well tested (read comments on the mod pages on the nexus) and that your load order is correct (LOOT also warns you about known issues with some mods). I tend to agree with user Katana314 that some mod is causing a huge amount of bloat. One thing you can try ...

I just discovered by accident that you don't need to press "E" every time. After the first time, if you just keep clicking right where the "yes" was (what looks like empty space), it will bring up the prompt again (so essentially each double click = an item). Just watch out! If you finish the item you're crafting, it may move to the next one on the list, ...

While I can't vouch for the authenticity (Save first, then try!), I found these instructions that, while only made for a normal vampire, have a note about vampire lords. If you are a vampire lord, you need a mod to prevent changing back into your old race. The game records what your race was at the time you get Vampire Lord form, and recalls that when ...

Go to a far away place, rest for 2 weeks, and then go back to the Rat Vaults where you met him initially. This should give that cell enough time to reset and hopefully respawn him.

The stone is near a dead conjurer, befor you enter the path out, in the trolls lair. The troll wont usually be in the lair, but if you wait a few minutes, he will go back to it. The stone is next the conjurers hand.

It sounds like it has glitched out, you may have to restart. You usually find him in the jail cell within the guild and have to take him back to Riverwood (where they talk catch up). He has a book in his pocket and he gives you the quest for Alduin Wall..

Ended up skipping the glitched part, directly giving myself the Runed Lexicon and updating quest state. For that I used the UESP page of the quest, which contains all quest states, and a link to the item ID. Then it was just a matter of running the commands: player.additem 0003a3dd 1 setstage DA04 35 This only skips the inscribing stage, not the whole ...
