Yes. Your account can actually be closed because of this. Here is a section of the rules of conduct that clearly says that: You may not use names of copyrighted or trademarked characters, materials or products, e.g. Coca-Cola or Dr. Pepper. Other things that you cannot name characters are names like GeorgeLucas, LukeSkywalker and WinstonChurchill.

It's a lot simpler than you're expecting. Tech classes (Smuggler, Trooper, Agent, and Bounty Hunter) get what you described, and Force classes (Consular, Knight, Inquisitor, and Warrior) get Synthweaving, Archaeology, and Underworld Trading. Here's one source on Reddit and another on the official forums.

Yes, they did away with Strength (as well as Willpower, Aim, and Cunning, plus combining Crit and Surge) with Patch 4.0. Now all classes use Mastery instead. All you need to worry about is choosing the modifications with more Mastery than Endurance (the reverse is for tanks).

The exact optimal stats are: 6410 Endurance | 5372 Mastery | 2931 Power 1309 Critical | 774 Alacrity | 701 Accuracy To achieve this, you want Versatile armorings and hilt (for more Mastery), unlettered Lethal mods (for more Mastery and Power), 2 Initiative enhancements and 5 Accuracy augments (to get almost exactly 110% Accuracy), and the rest split ...

They are next to the appropriate Class Trainers on the capital worlds (below the Senate Plaza on Coruscant, and on the upper level of Kaas City on Dromund Kaas).

May 4th, subscribers got a 12x exp boost on class missions. As of July 17th, subscribers are still getting this boost. Apparently the only way to stop the boost is to buy an item from a vendor on the fleet. All true (though the item is free). It continues until early access for the the next expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, on October 20th. ...

Solo Mode is designed for a single person. You are given an droid that will tank and heal, leaving it up to you to deal most of the damage (though it can finish some fights on its own). Story Mode is the basic group mode for a Flashpoint and typically requires a tank, a healer, and two DPS. Many Story Modes were low-level, with Hard Modes taking the same ...

No, you must have the actual item and drag the item to the outfit slot to equip it and obtain the look. Once an item is equipped, you can discard the original but if you equip a new piece in that slot you will have lost the previous.

That would be the Encrypted Terminal, which gives the equivalent of Makeb's slicing nodes' lockboxes (level 51-55 or Grade 9). Grade 11 nodes (Rishi/Yavin) have not been added as decorations yet. Do note that this is an absolutely terrible way to farm credits ... a half hour spent slicing on Yavin will net you more than exhausting the decoration node on ...

Scoundrels and Opertives do not need cover to perform any attacks in their rotation. Before 3.0 they would use it to make use of explosive probe and snipe(dont know the rep counter names), but due to changes in the game system, snipe no longer requires cover and explosive probe is now sniper/gunslinger only. Snipe and probe are/were useful because they had ...

Not really, no. It doesn't enhance DPS or enable more abilities the way it does for Snipers and Slingers. Hard cover (automatically rolling into position where the green "ghost" is shown) provides immunity to damage from Ranged attacks. This is almost completely useless given that it only functions while you're crouched, and to heal or attack you ...

This was added with Patch 4.0. Open Preferences and go to the Keybinding Import/Export tab on the bottom right. In the text box at the bottom left you can type a name and hit the Save (floppy disk icon) button, and then go to your other character and hit the Load (page icon) beside that name in the Key Presets list.

You can right-click them, which is slightly faster. Sadly there is no way to do multi-select or a bulk move.

This appears to be working for people who obtained a "temporary" companion after Patch 4.0 (open the Companions and Contacts window to summon them), but is broken for people who had a temp companion before the patch; see this Reddit post. (For clarity, in pre-4.0 content most companions temporarily accompany you during critical quests before becoming ...

Lvl 8 shields from lvl 8 equipment vendor Remove the armoring , then vendor the shield and the armoring 4,4k per 6 CDC

I decided to do some experimenting, while trying out the Level 8 Shield idea provided in another answer and found the following: Buy Versatile Armoring 42 from Level 60 Modification Vendor on Fleet, at 2 Common Data Crystals per Armoring Either wait out the buy back timer (2 hours) or send the Armoring(s) to an alt via in-game mail Sell the Armoring(s) to ...

The Mask of Revan is a quest item for the mission you are on to retrieve it, from the Revanite camp on Dromund Kaas. That means it gets put on a different tab on your inventory, and would not function as a piece of your equipment no matter what class you were.

You can only spend data crystals at certain vendors. For instance, this Reddit post contains more detail about vendors on Odessen that accept them: There are vendors on Oddessan(or however you spell that) that sell stuff for them. One vendor in the Underworld section of the command bunker sells decorations, pets, and a certain Zakuulian group's ...

All planetary commendations have been collapsed into Common Data Crystals, and the prices of mods have been greatly reduced. This means that it is far and away much better to take comms rather than gear. You should always have enough comms to buy new mods, and modded-out gear at level will always beat the standard green items given as quest rewards.

The most efficient and quickest way to earn credits in the end-game comes from dailies and the new(4.0) Heroic quests system, and for the more active player; Operations. Dailies are short quests that can be repeated on a daily basis and give you 6-10k depending in the planet and if you do the bonus quest or not. Dailies can be done on the planets: Corellia ...

You can do the following things as said in this guide to making millions of credits: Resell on the Galactic Trade Network. Always have your companions out doing crew skills when you don’t need them. Create more alts. Choose different crew skills on them all. This will allow you to get a bigger % of the market to earn from. Do Space Missions from your ship ...

In 4.0, Affection has been replaced with Influence. As with Affection, Influence is completely orthogonal to whether your companions actually like you and your choices — it simply indicates that you've had some affect on them. Unlike Affection, however, it can only increase — so decisions that they don't like still increase it. You can't have ...

Since 4.0, the below has changed — you always want Crit instead of Power. See http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=844210 This completely depends on your current and desired stat distribution. Most people stick with Power crystals but there's no reason you can't use fewer Crit mods/enhancements with Crit crystals. This guide has some ...

Older packs have occasionally been brought back to the Cartel Market for short periods. There have also been special Crystal, Vehicle, etc. packs which gather together items from several previous packs. There are also Cartel Reputation vendors in the Cartel Bazaar area (North elevator on the Republic Fleet, and South elevator on the Imperial fleet) which ...

He is not a romanceable companion. As such, nothing you say to him ever locks you out of future conversations or side stories/quests. For companions with a romance option, you can be locked out of the romance if you turn down any [Flirt] option that doesn't grant Dark Side points or others that are further along in the arc. To be safe, always choose all ...

It's an incredibly rare drop (on the order of one in a billion) from any level 50 or higher enemy or lockbox. There's not much you can do other than play the game and hope. Of course, it can be traded and sold on the GTN. On The Shadowlands it tends to sell for around 25 million. Note that after buying and using it you could re-sell it, since it never ...

There are two types of referrals: You, as a subscriber, refer a past or present subscriber who has never been referred before. You, as a subscriber, refer someone who creates an entirely new F2P account with your ...

You can only unlock and/or run one copy of each specific mission at a time. Usually at each level there are 2-4 rare missions from discoveries for each skill. At 500 Diplomacy, there are 2, so there is no way for you to run 3. The mission discovery items should have different icons so that you can tell them apart.

You cannot tank in DPS spec, the concept is absurd. Without tanking abilities and buffs, tanking gear would be mostly useless and gimp your DPS, ensuring you could not maintain threat. DPS gear won't offer you any protection and it is likely that you would still not maintain threat over other DPS who are more familiar with the role and their Disciplines. ...
