When you purchase a game from XBLA, that game is licensed in 2 ways: To the account you purchase with it. To the machine that you purchase it on. Seeing as you purchased those games on another machine, that's why it is requiring you to be online to verify those games are licensed to your account. What you need to do is transfer content licenses to your ...

You can find all your past purchases under your Xbox purchase history (navigatable via the My Account page) on the xbox.com website. See screenshot.

This may be a known bug in Braid. If you take a look at this post on their official site (I realize it is from 2008, but the comments say this is still an unpatched bug), it mentions possible reasons why the game reverts to trial mode. You can try redownloading the game, and it should recognize that you've already purchased it and unlock the full game on ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seOYC72-9uU see the creator's hint: Pretty tricky but if you stand on the left side and jump, while in the air press dpad right left and blow a bubble you will eventually get it....gotta be quick. The basic idea here is that you can turn fast enough to create a bubble. In bubble bobble neo bubbles will push you around. As ...

Deal of the week is not the only way prices are reduced on XBLA. There are more: there was also a Christmas promotion (a game a day) last year and XBLA Inventory Blowout this year. Major Nelson is a good (and an advance) source of such information: Major Nelson's deal tag

Games can be removed from XBLA if they meet Microsofts criteria, which basically says if the game is not doing well, it can be removed. Once delisted, I don't think they're available in any region anymore. Microsoft announced that games older than 6 months would become eligible for delisting from the service if they had a Metacritic score below 65 ...

XBox Live Indie Games do not have achievements1, 2. While Microsoft takes responsibility for reviewing and approving XBL Arcade titles, the review process for XBL Indie Games titles isn't controlled by Microsoft. Since they don't control the review process, they don't allow XBLIG games to have achievements that affect Gamerscore. While Penny Arcade: On the ...

You can create your X-Box account for any country, however you can only change countries once every 12 months. This can be done via the X-Box live website. You have to however copy all your downloaded content to a backup USB since you can't re-download these. Also the country on your Live account and the X-Box account must match, otherwise it will create ...

Did a little more digging and found the info needed. On the XBLA site for Sonic & Knuckles it says it does. Additionally found on GoNintendo.com, it says the Wii VC version keeps the lock on tech as well.

From Wikipedia it seems a vast majority of the games were released on Wednesdays, at least for the sampling of about 10 released in 2012 that I checked. I do note that this is not an absolute rule, as a game ironically named "Anomaly: Warzone Earth" was released on April 6th, 2012 - a Friday. Unless that is an error, which would in turn be even more ...

You will have to create a new, American Live account. Create an American account with Hotmail or Live. I say create new because you won't be able to change your country if you already have a UK Hotmail account. I had the same issue, so I created a new account with "Location: US", used my credit card, and it worked. Any major credit card should work when ...

Delisted Xbox Live Arcade games can only be accessed if they've already been purchased under your account. In that case, they can be re-downloaded by going back through your Purchase History. Outside of that, if you haven't purchased a game yet and it's been delisted, there's no way to get it.

I am told: Claws (first stage only) Conviction (replaces claws and gotten from the first boss) Machine arm: chainsaw Machine Arm: Chain gun (shotgun attachment gained later on) Painkiller (giant needle) Cloud Sword (behold the power of the clouds) Kamas (Yup no longer belongs to the dishwasher in this game) The Dishwasher: ...

There can be 'achievements' inside Indie games, however they do not increment / tie to your Xbox Live account, it'd be strictly tied to that Indie game. I would assume this is because there would be users with 500k+ achievement scores if the developers were allowed to put in achievements (Ex beating level 1 would give you 1000 points or something).

I'm going to break this down into a few subcategories consisting of everything I can think of. I'm trying to be objective with this, but also making use of personal experience. Don't hate me, fanboys. I own both. Performance & Appearance This is probably something you should look at on a game-by-game basis. You might think that the PS3 version of any ...

Back in Tony Hawk Proskater 1(original game, not hd), you were unable to perform a manual. In the second game, they added the manual, but you are still unable to manual after performing a tick from a pipe. Even if you pressed down/up, up/down before landing off a pipe, you cannot combo that trick. Street tricks/rails can be chained with manuals by pressing ...

Yes, it does. :-) The control points in the levels are no real savegames, though. If you got to one of them and turn off the console, you have to restart the level.

Have you considered simply installing the game? If you hit "X" on the game tile to go to game details and select install, the xbox will install the game to your hard drive and run it from there whenever you play. You will need the disc to start the game and it will continue to spin for a couple minutes but after that you can game in peace. My disc drive ...

You should be able to use the Plants Vs. Zombies save under the following conditions: Go to your saved games view. Scroll down to the P section. You should see an entry for Plants Vs. Zombies. Open it and see if there is a save game there that you own. If there is a Plants Vs. Zombies saved game, then the downloadable version should recognize the file ...

Is the game you're referring to PopCap Hits Vol 2? I can't find anything about a volume 3, and volume 2 does include Plants vs Zombies. Regarding your question, if you have a game on a disc then buy it from the Xbox Live Store, it will use the same save games as the disc based version. Once the game is on the console, it doesn't know or care where the game ...

I did notice this effect when I fired it up to test. The area above the top-right flipper does seem to have a slowing effect in certain cases, but it's not consistent. I think it depends where it hits. It's not an illusion, and it's got nothing to do with Adhesive X as I saw this happen before and after starting that. You can't unfortunately flip the table ...

You can make an American account, with a hotmail account that says it's American. I'm not sure if you have to pay with an American credit card, or if you have to buy an American MS Points card to buy, but it's worth trying.
