What are the differences for snipers between Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty MW2? @Bora: that is correct. The IW engine uses what is called 'hitscans' for bullets that travel at infinite velocity and perfectly on the crosshairs. The only lead or drop you have to factor in is any lag between you thinking about shooting, and when you actually do. BC2 utilizes the more 'realistic' bullet ballistics as stated above. |

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 online disconnecting Did you try it again? I have had problems in the past with some EA games (servers seem to be down a little too often), but they were up later. |

Is it possible to run Steam games that reside on my Mac OS X partition from my Windows partition? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bootcamp runs Windows in a Virtual Machine, not dual-booted? If so, the paths can get crossed up and sometimes things that require specific paths can't find the proper paths. Games almost always work better outside of VMs or emulators. |

M320 Grenade Launcher: Under-slung vs. Standalone From what I'm reading (Correct me if I'm wrong; I haven't played enough beta to unlock it) you can have it as a gadget and use an attachment like a grip or as an attachment and use a gadget like a medkit. In that case, it depends on which is more valuable; the gadget or the attachment. Probably depends a lot on your style of play. |

How do I see bad guys on Battlefield 3 multiplayer map? Battlefield is very different than CoD. Most flame wars start with someone comparing them, but they are vastly different styles of gameplay. CoD features a more 'arcade shooter' style - fast action, run-and-gun, whereas Battlefield attempts to make the game 'realistic' - as realistic as any FPS video game can be. Both good games, but both taking completely approaches to succeed. |
