Help with sound for a Xbox 360 w/ HDMI cable You can always run your HDMI cable through a home media reciever, having the HDMI-in, then run audio-out to a speaker system and HDMI-out to the monitor. Alternatively, many monitors have a 3.5mm (standard headphone) jack on them that you can use to output to speakers. I ran my monitor with HDMI video to the monitor and then audio to speakers (or headphones, if I wanted to play without disturbing others). |

How do I use my iMac as a “monitor” for my Xbox 360 and my Wii? I would disagree with LessPop. I used a 23" computer monitor @1080p and I loved it. The picture was clearer than the 50" LCD 1080p I play on now, due the higher dpi. To get 1440p resolution, you usually have to get a 27" or larger monitor, which at upwards of $600 makes little sense when you can usually get a 40" LCD 1080p for that price. |

Why are Aspyr COD games so expensive in the Mac App Store? Mac games are generally significantly more expensive than PC games because for a while, Mac game development has lagged behind PC due to the greatly smaller numbers playing on Mac. Cod4 came out a year after the PC version, and as of yet, MW2 and Black Ops have not been released for Mac. So Cod4 is the most recent Call of Duty game for Mac. I am sure the price will drop once another CoD game is released. Remember, CoD4 was still in the $40-50 range on PC & xBox until MW2 was released. |
