Is it possible to clear Hex Defense levels in “hard” mode? Islands is difficult. For me it is the one that requires the most "timing," as well as an exception to my otherwise mostly-good tactic of avoiding mini-guns in favor of rockets. Here's how I start: 1-- laser due west of home base, then immediately upgrade laser... 2--mini-gun south-east of the generator... 3--rockets in the island interiors... 4--alternate upgrading of island rockets and laser... 5--rockets protecting your home base... (I've since completed all levels on hard--Tidal Pools I don't even bother with.) |
