That allows you to buy a digital download code for the game specifically, which you would then have to enter on your Wii/WiiU/3DS as appropriate, but at this time, it does not appear to have DLC, just full releases. If you want DLC, currently your only option is to connect to the eshop through your device.

I cleaned up some of the comments - I appreciate the OP is curious as to what is going on here, but at this point, the comments aren't helpful. Unless someone decides to comment and explain their own personal reasoning, it's best just to accept that sometimes, downvotes happen, and as much as it would be nice to get a clear indication as to why, it's not going to happen in every case, because of how the system is designed (and before you ask, no, that's not likely to change any time soon.)
