I might be wrong about the exact requirements for unlocking the final option, but as far as I can tell, my reputation bar was maxed several missions before the end. Although I did miss delivering an item (the dog tags) due to the Cerberus attack on the Citadel, so it's possible that that might be the cause.

Mar 14	comment	Who are the numerous that died? @LessPop_MoreFizz: Samara didn't die with the default settings (her name would have been on the memorial wall). Rather, she was never recruited in the first place, which has more or less the same net effect.

The Big Daddies, but yes, there are different endings depending on your choice of harvesting vs rescuing the Little Sisters (I think that's what you meant). Harvesting gives more ADAM straight away, but rescuing them gives you a gift for every third Little Sister you rescue, and the items in those gifts are probably worth more than the ADAM you give up, so it pays off in the long run.

Also note that for some weapons that can be charged, the cloak is broken and the bonus is applied when you begin charging, so you can choose between cloaking before charging to get the damage bonus, or cloaking after you begin charging to charge while cloaked, but in that case you don't get the damage bonus.

I would expect the number to be something like that ME3, since the combat mechanics seem to be very similar in those installments.
