comment How can I take out items from a container?
I might be totally wrong as well! If it turns out I am I'll update it :D Dumping is a tedious way to do it manually

comment How do I move an object in dwarf fortress?
Note that if you assign an item to be used in construction (before it's linked to a hauling job) then dwarves won't bother hauling it, even if the construction job isn't active.

comment Safely harvesting water from the caverns?
A simple way to get water is to build a well, which can be any distance vertically above the water as long as there's nothing in the way. If you do build a simple well high up above a cavern, then only flying beasts (maybe some climbing creatures now, too) will be able to come through.

comment Stop production when receiving pile is full?
This is a pretty clever way to do it with just the base game, and starting the main stockpile full of barrels and switching the options means that no new empty barrels will come in while others are in use.

comment City specialization
In general, you're always going to have a handful of farms, mines, and whatever tile improvements are needed by the terrain. In the remaining space you'll focus tile improvements based on how you want to specialise. More than that, however, you can specialise by your choice of buildings, wonders, and great people. Some wonders (often national) provide a %based bonus, so you want to build these in cities that have a lot of buildings/wonders providing that. Using great people to construct tile improvements will also help.

comment Sims 3 is too slow and always crashes
@deutschZuid The Sims notoriously performs worse with multiple expansions, and not solely due to loading from the drive. Of course, that's one of the bigger effects, and loading screens will take a long time, but I've noticed actual game performance drop with numerous expansions on multiple systems.

comment What are “Reliable Gold” and “Unreliable Gold” in Dota 2?
@BlaXpirit So it is :P As a note, you actually get 1.25 gold per second (or more accurately 1 gold every 0.8 seconds). :)

comment What are “Reliable Gold” and “Unreliable Gold” in Dota 2?
@Holger I've heard killing the courier gives unreliable gold - I don't know for sure if your allies get reliable or unreliable when you kill the courier, but it would make sense if it was all unreliable, as I don't think the game cares who killed it.

comment How do you defeat yourself or: How do I defeat myself?
I had a lot of health too, but I just used the Chrome console to set the berserk potion timer to a silly number and left it alone while I did my job. I'm sure you could just change your hero health and I think the duplicate's stats all mirror to your current ones.

comment Can I see Dota 2 game info online?
@Doomsknight Looks to be a very solid game for SK, even if PL carried harder. Also looks like Husk abandoned at L4 (no skill ups after that) and probably died a lot from the team playing him with a 5m level disadvantage. Short game, though - PL seems to have rushed to Manta Style, so it must have started going well pretty early. 12-53(59) says a lot. Their early game Pudge looks like he didn't know his hero too well, and the team failed to hold out long enough for Medusa to become useful. I'd have to see the replay to get a solid sense of the key moments.

comment What are the NPC tells when drunk in Poker Night 2?
Also, what kind of tell is it when Sam hops? I imagine the characters will have tells for good hands, bad hands, and bluffing.

comment What are “Reliable Gold” and “Unreliable Gold” in Dota 2?
Also, bonus gold abilities: Hand of Midas (reliable), Bounty Hunter's Track (reliable), Doom's Devour (unreliable), Alchemist's Greevil's Greed (unreliable).

comment How do you harass early game as Warlock
@BlueTrin There's a chance it was pushing the lane too much if it was binding a bunch of creeps together and causing them to take extra damage.

comment How can I add more parts to my already complex captain?
@kotekzot Fair enough, I'm not currently able to test for myself. I'll remove the link to that and leave it as a generic comment. I know there's a cheat code "freedom" to remove the complexity limit, but I think that only works with the editor modes outside of gameplay and you can't use them in-game if they're over the limit. Glad the asymmetry did something. Maybe look up Spore Mega Trainer - claims to remove complexity limits, but I don't know if you need a separate version for Galactic Adventures.

comment How do I resurrect essential NPCs in Skyrim?
You might like to look at this list of console commands to get an idea of what's possible beyond the simple resurrect mentioned in the answers. I'd advise making the character essential again, to prevent accidental deaths. Most immortal characters are immortal because they have some important role in the quests.

comment Give away duplicate steam game
Yeah, I don't fully understand why they do it that way, but the packs tend to be quite cheap and I guess if everyone got extra copies then everyone would be trading them around and still often getting the games they actually wanted cheaper.

comment How to use Dota 2 courier?
@skiabox Are you familiar with buying items and using the shop at all? I would recommend doing the tutorial (Play>Quests in-game), which introduces the shop amongst other things.

comment How to use Dota 2 courier?
@BlueTrin XD Yeah, I spent a good while writing mine up before I knew anyone else was answering. It's a shame we can't see when someone else is actively writing until they actually submit - it could prevent a lot of overlap and save people time they could use improving each other's answers rather than writing the same thing!

Ah, I had misread and hadn't realised you leave the water down as you dig. A good method :)

comment What's the easiest way to make obsidian?
Your answer very briefly mentions where obsidian comes from, but doesn't go into much useful detail about safely and effectively farming obsidian - I feel a slightly more thorough explanation of the things you mention would be useful. I like the note about creating a nether portal without a diamond pick, though.
