Which characters are allowed in your name? UTF-8 can encode the entire Unicode range of characters, so writing "UTF-8" is like writing "there's no restriction on anything". I don't think that's what you meant to write. |

Is it possible to get Steam to continue downloading a game while I'm playing? This is an exact duplicate so it will be closed. A better way to approach the problem of outdated answers is indeed to set a bounty, as Kareen noted, and in this case I went ahead and set the bounty on the other question for you. I also have an old meta post listing other ways to handle this problem of incorrect / outdated answers, if you're interested - and I see you have indeed already left a comment on the accepted answer there :) |

Should I reveal new areas early or late in the turn? Your 4th point is inaccurate - an overwatch shot can be taken while the alien is en route to somewhere where my troops won't be able to shoot. But the rest of your points, especially the 1st, make a lot of sense, so thanks for the insights! |

What rule does border expansion follow? @Yawus yes, cultural border expansion depends on the culture output of the city (open the city screen and hover over the culture output on the left to see details). Cultural borders will never expand beyond range 5, though. The only way to claim tiles that are further away than range 5 is by a culture bomb (or a citadel, in the expansion). |
