comment What is the quickest and most reliable way to deal with kobolds?
Mr Smooth, try grinders w/ ice or steam traps on the Sorceress. They aren't as good as tar in some ways, but fill a similar role. Brimstone isn't too popular, but I find it works wonders on kobolds for me (in both OMD1 & OMD2).

comment Trouble on status combination
The amount to spend for a decent item is going up with inflation. If you read this later, you probably will need to experiment to find the right values.

comment Optimal way to increase heavy armor skill?
The fish that attack you (slaughterfish) are a good way to go for this. You can control how much damage you take by simply walking out of the water. You can also raise your restoration magic if you like by healing this damage.

comment What advantages do the different armor types provide?
When you have upgraded the armor or weapons, your smithing skill can easily dwarf the increase of better weapons or armor. Note that you can improve higher grade items further though. Those perks (dwarven, Orcish, etc) also impact how much you upgrade armor.

comment Does Nightingale armor scale as you level light armor?
Do you know what the level breaks are for the variants? I've not been able to figure that one out.

comment What is the best obtainable gear in Heavy Armor, Light Armor and Clothing?
Thanks for the info. I've not hit smithing 100 yet, but will. Do you have any info on what 100 skill does to armor values (and/or weapons)? Is it a linear increase like 1% improvement per point of smithing skill or something? (upvoted)

comment What are all the ways to get Speech Bonuses in Skyrim?
Selling items and persuading people does (I've leveled up Speech on doing those). Not sure about others. It seems like a reasonable question to ask if you want answers from the wider community. I did a search and didn't see it so you wouldn't be duplicating an existing question.

comment What's the level cap in Skyrim?
There is a soft cap at 50 after which it becomes much harder to level.

comment What happens when choosing Magicka, Health or Stamina when leveling up in Skyrim?
I can verify that on PC it does refill all three on leveling up. It may not have been that way at some point in development/beta because I've read about it on refilling the one you pick.

comment What is the best obtainable gear in Heavy Armor, Light Armor and Clothing?
FWIW, Dragon is not the highest level heavy armor (but it's a common mistake). For example a Dragon plate Helmet is 22 armor (base) and a Daedric Helmet is 23 armor (base).

Yes, I'm looking for other bonuses I don't know about. It feels weird answering your own question, but I read somewhere it's actually encouraged on the site. Plus I thought what I already know would help get a relevant answer and maybe help others.

comment Can I make mods for Skyrim?
Currently there are already a number of mods available for Skyrim. The more advanced mods like changing object shapes and adding new areas will have to wait for the Creation Kit. There are many places to get mods (just search the web for "skyrim mod"). One of the most popular is Skyrim Nexus

comment Where are the save files in Skyrim?
I use Dropbox for this as well, however I've recently gotten an error from Steam that makes me think the game may also be using Steam cloud storage for the save games. I will have to check and see if that is indeed working.

comment How do I increase the maximum amount of weight my character can carry before they become encumbered?
Actually X in the above is added to your current carry weight. So if you could carry 300 and ran player.modav carryweight 1000 you would be able to carry 1300. Just double checked it in current steam version of the game.
