Sep 7	comment	I don't understand gavelkind Sadly I think each separate realm is handled independently. I would love that it was like in Spain where each child got it's own Kingdom. Here I think they look at Germany and give the oldest one the Kingdom, Half the duchies etc. Then they look at Italy and give the oldest one the kingdom, half the duchies etc.
