comment Can I play Sims 4 on my Mac using a PS3 controller?
A Google search turned up at least two pieces of software that seem to allow one to map a gamepad to keyboard and mouse controls. I don't have a Mac anymore, so I can't test myself, but it sounds like either one would be the last piece of the puzzle. Joystick Mapper: joystickmapper.com. Enjoyable: yukkurigames.com/enjoyable.

comment Does MacCready's Killshot perk only affect body parts labeled as 'head' in VATS?
@DCShannon I only got the perk this past weekend (I put MacCready off for a while) and haven't really had much time with it yet. I'm not going to lie when I say that it has been fun so far, but I hear what you are saying. The game should represent at least some challenge.

I have mixed feelings on the bugged nature of this patch. On the one hand, I've got ~150 hours in my play through and I kind of think I should feel like a superman at this point. But on the other hand, it is a bit OP when I can take out an entire room of raiders with one visit to VATS.

comment How do I learn opponent ship details?
I ran one for a bit on an alt in scan frigate, but really only because, at that character's skill level, I couldn't fit anything useful. Otherwise, you are exactly right. There's little other reason to fit a scanner.

comment How long do empty ships stay in space?
Abandoned ships outside of a POS bubble can make for easy, stat padding kills. Baring that, I have personally stolen a ship that was bumped out of a bubble during a POS siege. The owners were none to happy to see that.

comment Is there a merchant who sells shipments of wood?
So, I'm pretty sure the pre-fab buildings are a little leaner on the materials cost than building things panel by panel. But it's much more fun to build your own buildings. And by walling in some of my settlements and placing turrets at strategic places along the wall, I've managed to keep most of my settlements fairly well defended.

comment Is there a merchant who sells shipments of wood?
I'll have to take some screenshots, but I've walled in Sanctuary, Starlight, Greentop Nursery, and the Castle. Oh, and I've built some buildings in Starlight including a penthouse in the sky as a vanity project. Suffice it to say, I've spent a lot of raw materials. :)

comment Minutemen wandering in the wastes?
This is purely anecdotal, but it does seem that as I have been leveling up, the roving minutemen I encounter do seem better equipped and more numerous.

Gave you an up-vote too for the list of items that can be scrapped. Not really useful for me since I'm basically the wasteland trash collector, but it may be useful for others with the same problem.

comment Is it possible to obtain the Ballistic Weave mod in Fallout 4 without hitting a point of no return?
I don't remember being able to upgrade the vault suit, actually. Instead, I've been wearing a BOS uniform that I looted off a dead body in either the National Guard training yard or the Revere Satellite Array. I can't remember which.
