Why is my PS3's internet so slow compared to my computer? It's really easy to run an ethernet cable through the roof and down the inside of the wall. Definitely no special skills or handyman experience required. Did it when I was a kid (prior to wireless). |

What are the best laptop screen resolutions for gaming on a PC? If you mostly use it for work/browsing and only occasionally game (and don't have an external high-end CRT to hook it up to) get a high res. If it's mainly for gaming, no point going for highest res only to have to go fuzzy for every game. |

What are the best laptop screen resolutions for gaming on a PC? +1 do consider this. A newer game at only 1024x768 but with all the AF and effects turned on looks much better than at 1920x1080 with the effects switched off. There will always be new games coming out that tax your hardware, where you'll have to choose one or the other. Running a game on an LCD at anything lower than it's native resolution is going to look fuzzy. Try it out and decide what's important to you. |

Emulating keyboard and mouse commands with a game controller (control pad) - which software has the most features? Thanks. I've now bought xPadder, very happy. For people finding this later: xPadder is much easier to use (thanks to the controller images allowing you to see which button is where) and for some reason works on games where controlMK fails or only partially works. Most people can probably make do with the free version above. |

How do I perform directional inputs for Street Fighter 4 on a PC Keyboard? Off-topic, but please buy a controller. You can get a decent one for as little as $5, and a good usb adapter for a snes controller for under $25. That's probably about 1-2% of what your PC cost you. |

When does the Steam Christmas Sale take place? Wow. All 5 Prince of Persia games for less than $20. That's like - less than 20c per hour of gameplay. Sands of Time is $2.49 - I think that's about one cent for every major game critic who's named it the best game of all time... |

Compatibility of controllers for PC games That's true Grace Note, but official support saves a lot of button mapping (more time than you'd think). |

Compatibility of controllers for PC games Not every GFW game supports X360 pads (shakes fist at developers of Bioshock 2) but almost all do. The convenience of this is pretty important for me, without it I end up spending an hour per game fiddling with button mappings before I can play properly. It's more work than you might think. |
