I play a wide variety of games, but as my gaming time gets less I prefer co-op and multiplayer options - so that I can socialize while I play. Pretty much the only thing I avoid are sports games, because I'm about as bad at them as real life sports. My current circumstances cause a fair amount of focus on social games, especially Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans, and Puzzle and Dragons. I'm also exploring some back catalogue options at the moment, Limbo being the game du jour.

comment Can you use a USB to expand the Xbox's storage?
In my personal experience, the XBox formatting is fairly bulky too. I once tried using a small key to store some XBL Arcade games to make some space on one of my boxes, and after formatting there was basically no space on the key. I believe it was 1 GB. After that I just bit the bullet and bought a licensed expansion drive.

comment Which direction do Coconut Wheels turn if they are destroyed?
This matches my experience. You'll see it spin a short random amount of time, then it picks a direction.

For my part I'll be voting mostly on my experience with these folks, and what kind of mod I expect them to be, but I am trying my best to understand the proposed changes from the different nominees.

@FEichinger You can criticize galactic for making a lot of self-referential examples, but the only other option is calling other people out. For some of the nominations folks are saying "I won't change" or "I don't want to change the site". Others like Frank are mentioning changes from the status quo, in this case being less hands on. I think its natural for folks who have gotten to know the status quo to have a lot of questions about what exactly is changing. But I also think there is only so much that can be explained in the few days before elections.

Strix and I chatted and I better understand where he is coming from. I think he summed it up well above, but I now have a better sense what he didn't mean. Check out the chat log if you are interested. He has my support.

@StrixVaria Thanks for elaborating. I didn't mean to imply harassment was better than trolling - instead that it is easier to define as bad. In contrast to disagreements, which aren't always bad IMHO. I agree with you that you have to trust mods to interpret "intentions" to the best of their ability. I'm guessing I just haven't witnessed folks intentionally "disregarding the consensus of the community" much (not to say it doesn't happen). I have been in the minority opinion on my fair share of Meta and Chat discussions though, and I was wondering if that fit in that bucket.

@StrixVaria I'm interested in what your definition of "trolling" is, in the context of Arqade. Some behaviors dubbed trolling are simple harassment. Is that the extent of what your talking about, or does it extend into disagreements? In a disagreement between two parties (or groups) - who do you ban?

comment Is the row direction random when the striped candy is created indirectly?
I agree. I've both never seen a pattern myself, nor have I read about one on various sites where folks are asking this same question. If there is causality to it, it must be extremely hard to predict.

comment Why does Mumble interfere with Steam?
@Kissaki I am by no means a software/driver expert, just trying to help based on the OS message. I get that Mumble would be independent at run time, but the message seems to indicate that other apps are blocking the Mumble install. I often wonder if the installers are really blocked by a conflict with an open app, or they just blindly force you to close those apps - maybe there isn't really a conflict, but the installer thinks there is?

comment Which characters unlock each scene?
Hi @Alex, welcome to Arqade. I think I see where you are coming from, but your question would be best reworded, highlighting the specific information you are seeking. For more info on asking a good question, you can check out this. I'd suggest rephrasing to something like "What are the conditions for acquiring all unlockable scenes". Also - the back half of your question is probably more of an answer.

comment Can I avoid attacks indefinitely by remaining online?
@Blem Seems like you are talking about something else. When you say PvE - do you mean the Goblin campaign? There is no timer in the Goblin campaign maps - you should be able to attack indefinitely (until you run out of troops). In PvP attacks, there is a timer that is unavoidable. This question was about a different topic though - the inactivity timer when you are looking at your own village. If you are inactive too long, it will time out and you become vulnerable to attack.

I feel like a builder used to be required, but I see that now it is not. Corrected.

comment What is the most effective raiding strategy/loadout to earn resources?
Hi @ConnorVanDerWerff, welcome to Arqade! I edited your answer to only include details related to the question. Arqade is a little different than forum sites, in that format is strictly question and answer. If you want to advertise for your clan, you could do so in chat, but I think you'll find there aren't that many folks that play CoC here anyway. As for your answer itself, I'm curious - do you deploy the whole group at once, or in a different arrangement? You can edit your answer to add detail if you'd like.

comment Why won't an NPC go into his house?
It seems in this case that there was no problem with having a legit room for the demolitionist to inhabit - but I believe that is a common problem. For posterity - the room needs to have a chair, a table, walls, a ceiling - and very importantly - a solid back wall. If even a tiny part of the back wall is not filled in, the room will not be considered suitable.

comment Will i still have my profile already loaded on my Xbox if i change the hardrive?
Hi @user53932 I suggest you add which XBox 360 version you have. Most likely, the answer to your question is as deutschZuid suggests. The slight exception is that some XBox model have an internal hard drive - but in that case it's fairly non-removable, so I'm guessing from your question wording you are dealing with one of the older models. Storing your profile in the cloud is pretty easy, so re-downloading it is not a big deal really.

@Jason_c_o Ideally, I think you could convert that into a repeating pattern, but as is it is the best answer I've received. Feel free to make it an actual answer and I'll accept it.

comment Does it matter which orb I take in “Ghost in the Machine”?
My experience was the same as partridge's. I did somewhat speculate that it wasn't fixed at 3 and is one at random out of the five, but I think the point of this scene is to show that you break stuff when you touch it, so a scripted sequence of three makes more sense so that players always have the same experience. The statement by Kinzie of "it doesn't matter. Just pick one" is meant as a tongue in cheek joke that the programmer nerd could have done it with any of them, but the hamfisted brute (you) takes three attempts.
