Can I create one steam account per game? I'm in your situation too. It's worth noting that our situation is explicitly prohibited by the steam user agreement. From steam's point of view, both you and your son should have to purchase your own copies of every game you would like to play. i.e. sharing a steam account between any two people (even family/friends) is not allowed, one account == one person. If you accept that condition, then its hard to justify why one person would ever need to play two games at once. |

Civilization V versions @Sheldon: Do you have a link so we can see it too? I have never seen any copy such as the one you describe and I reviewed all the available copies for sale when the game came out. |

Why I need to verify Steam file integrity when a play Civilization V in DX9 mode? Steam should verify a file once (and only once) after it has downloaded, this protects your computer from using a corrupt or damaged files. If you find they steam is trying to verify it each time, either delete/re-install the game/steam or post a bug report to steam. |
