comment Is there a reason to not disenchant extra cards?
Blizzard will never implement trading. This is a CCG - and trading would kinda ruin the whole collection process.

comment How high are the chances of getting a legendary card?
@ChrisHateZ I strongly disagree with that sentiment. There's a lot of streamers that show themselves getting to Legend rank on a free-to-play account. A lot of the most competitive decks only have 1-2 legendaries, and it's easy to get very far without any. Also, you can jump into the arena for an even playing field - which also tends to be the best way to get gold and cards. It's "Play skillfully to win", not "Pay to win"

comment Is it normal to fight players with lots of legendaries?
Also, getting ALL the legendaries is really hard to do -- but getting just 1-2 is not very difficult. The first ones people tend to get are things like Ragnaros, Ysera, etc, because they are so strong.

Kel'thuzad is actually the easiest legendary to acquire, since all you have to do is defeat Naxxramas on faceroll mode.

comment Tutorial mode in Civ Beyond Earth
I found ADVISR extremely useful in learning the basics. When you start up a new game it should come up, and you should choose "New to Civ". You can also choose that you want all of the tutorial information (I forget the exact text on that button). He'll pop up periodically with useful information, and give you little screenshot slideshows in certain spots to show you how specific mechanics function (Like the tech web, etc)

comment How can I get more expedition modules?
It took me an entire game before I realized my explorers could refill their modules. I kept making new ones whenever I wanted to excavate again >.< What a waste! Then I had one go auto-explore and was confused when I saw him excavating a second time.

comment What can I do with favors?
And as mentioned, it can depend on how much the civ likes you. If they're "guarded" you're likely to get a lot more screwed on your dealing with them then if they're friendly or better. My favors with guarded civs were barely worth the text they were written with when I tried trading them back later.... Of course I was trying to gain open borders so I could set up an attack on them. Maybe that's why.

comment How to tell if an Expedition site is “claimed”?
I'm really bad at keeping my promises to the other civs. I always tell them "ok I'll stop" to appease them... but then I up and do it anyway because I NEED MORE THINGS. And they don't. That's fair right? :D

comment How does alien hostility work?
When I was playing as Harmony -- the game started out where aliens would attack me when I was near their nest, but as the game progressed and my Harmony level increased, they seemed to be more likely to ignore my units altogether no matter how close to them I got -- even after attacking them to clear some room for trade routes or outposts.

Siege worms just... move about. If they happen to go through your city, they'll destroy things. But sometimes they'll just waltz on the outskirts of your city and pass you right by. Its seems quite random.

comment How to enable just one more turn?
I had the button and it worked fine for me when I won the mind flower victory.... Maybe if you lose you can't do it?

You cannot roll XP % bonuses on any random attributes on items. That stat only comes from a ruby in a helm socket.

comment Solo Wizard Builds?
Yes, stacks with whatever you're wearing (But remember MF is shared between party members). In inferno we tend to wear all of our damage/life/mitigation/best gear to fight the packs, then when the last monster is at ~10% we equip all our MF gear and finish him off. Been pretty effective so far (especially when combined with NV).

Also... in my 4-player group we pretty much have to have a barb for tanking or we'll fail miserably. <3 barbs.

Sorry! Nephalem valor is a buff that you receive when you hit the level cap (60). Every champion or elite pack you kill gives you one stack (to a maximum of 5 stacks). The buff's capabilities are twofold: Each stack provides a 15% bonus to magic find (75% at 5 stacks), and when you're at 5 stacks bosses (skelly king, act bosses, etc) will drop improved loot (I always get at least 2 rares, sometimes 3, as well as 5-8 blues). So it's not quite true to say bosses won't drop good loot; they most certainly will. If you respec or leave the game you lose all stacks.

You may want to rethink this strategy when you get level 60. You essentially lose 75% magic find (due to nephalem valor falling off) if you change specs between monster packs or bosses. A solid build is one that can handle an array of situations without having to be re-built everytime.

comment Diablo 3 Solo vs Public parties
You have to be pretty close to the kill to get the experience for it, and at that point you were more than likely part of the kill or at least assisting in the kills of other monsters in the same pack. If you can't play with a group of people you know I'd suggest solo play... There's no telling what public players might do.

comment What effect causes a green vortex on the ground?
@Codemonkey until they stack multiple piles on top of each other... It starts to really hurt in Inferno.
