comment How do I get the end of the world?
@SevenSidedDie Actually, in the second link you mention, the top answer specifically agrees with me: "In cases like this, where the question itself is completely generic and applies to many games, adding the title perfectly acceptable, it might be even necessary to circumvent the duplicate title check (you can't have two questions with exactly the same title on the site)." The top answer for the other question seems to indicate the opposite point...that ambiguity is somehow a "feature" because it encourages curiosity. Bleh. I can be curious without people hiding information from me.

comment How do I get the end of the world?
@SevenSidedDie Hmm...I probably worded the comment too strongly. It's something I have an opinion about, but definitely didn't intend to offend. It's an issue that has also been discussed on other sites...the general consensus I've seen is that while the the game name should definitely be a tag, it should also be in the question title if the question doesn't make sense without it. This question, for example, is showing up in the "hot questions" dropdown area for StackExchange sites...but from the question title without the game name, it's not clear what the question is about.

comment Can I copy the StarCraft 2 DVD to install the game (is there any disc protection)?
@MatthewRead Thanks for throwing the title in there. This question is showing up in "Hot Questions", which had the old title...but Hot Questions doesn't show tags, so it was a bit mysterious.

Could someone add the game title to this question? It isn't a question that will have the same answer across games (IE, it's intrinsic to the question, so it's title-appropriate.)

comment Will killing animals ruin achievements?
@SteveV. But that's the point. Keeping chaos low isn't necessarily related to gaining several of the achievements...in particular the one that says that the player can't kill anyone: someone looking at that goal isn't wondering how to keep chaos low...they're wondering how to get the achievement. The goal is different, and presumably the person searching is looking for a different reason. The answers are similar, but not the questions.

comment Can I create a new house in Hearthfire?
You get a vote! (I answered my own question with some reasearch I found online, but I haven't had the chance to independently verify any of it.) From the information I found, the author seemed to imply that only one person would sell you land, and it was semi-random who it was. You're saying you can buy it from all three of those places, regardless?

@Grok: +1 for taking the high road (well, also because I think the answer is useful.)

"They sell for around 250 or so". You can improve on this considerably with better enchantments. I sell Banish enchanted daggers for over 1000.

comment Can I refund a perk point?
I like the answer (voted it up), but I wouldn't call restoring a saved game "unfair". After all, that's really why multiple saves are there...so you can go back as far as you like (or had foresight to save at, anyway).

@Erick: You have to troll in both answers and comments?

comment Can I change my character's race/name after the start?
Sadly, the "fix" for me (since I am on an Xbox, and therefore don't have a console) was to just start the game over.

comment Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3?
@BlueRaja: Oh, I knew that! I suspected that when I wrote the original question, but wasn't sure...and since then they've announced that the guitar outputs MIDI. I guess I didn't make that clear. I meant more "is there a subset of MIDI electric guitars that will work with the game", rather than "will the average electric guitar work with the game." The recent modification to your answer is perfect. Thanks!

comment Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3?
@blueraja: The last part of your answer, about the pro adapter...I see a reference to it in Wikipedia on the Rock Band 3 page: "The Squier will be console neutral, producing MIDI output and requiring players to also purchase the MadCatz MIDI Pro-Adapter specific for their console.[31]

I suspect that the second paragraph is pretty much the key to this whole question.

comment Can I get the Morticulturalist achievement if I sell plants from my Zen Garden?
I'm confused. I thought this achievement was by making all the plant types available for gameplay...not for collecting them in the zen garden.

comment Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3?
@BlueRaja: "They've stated that the guitar has sensors in the neck": I remember something about this...but I'm wondering if that's how Midi guitars generally work, since this is supposedly a Midi guitar...blah. Guess this is a lot of speculation.

comment Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3?
Well, I know nothing is 100% until it actually ships...but since they're at the point of showing off the equipment and describing how it works, and the game is supposed to ship in less than 2 months, I think it's unlikely that they'll go through a major device redesign at this point. Still, the point is well taken.

comment Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3?
@BlueRaja / @Jeffrey: Well, this is the kind of thing I was sort of expecting...except wouldn't a Midi type guitar have the same kinds of issues? How is that handled?
