Can I copy the StarCraft 2 DVD to install the game (is there any disc protection)? @MatthewRead Thanks for throwing the title in there. This question is showing up in "Hot Questions", which had the old title...but Hot Questions doesn't show tags, so it was a bit mysterious. |

Can I copy the StarCraft 2 DVD to install the game (is there any disc protection)? Could someone add the game title to this question? It isn't a question that will have the same answer across games (IE, it's intrinsic to the question, so it's title-appropriate.) |

Will killing animals ruin achievements? @SteveV. But that's the point. Keeping chaos low isn't necessarily related to gaining several of the achievements...in particular the one that says that the player can't kill anyone: someone looking at that goal isn't wondering how to keep chaos low...they're wondering how to get the achievement. The goal is different, and presumably the person searching is looking for a different reason. The answers are similar, but not the questions. |

Can I create a new house in Hearthfire? You get a vote! (I answered my own question with some reasearch I found online, but I haven't had the chance to independently verify any of it.) From the information I found, the author seemed to imply that only one person would sell you land, and it was semi-random who it was. You're saying you can buy it from all three of those places, regardless? |

How do I make money efficiently? "They sell for around 250 or so". You can improve on this considerably with better enchantments. I sell Banish enchanted daggers for over 1000. |

I've misplaced a perk, can I get it back? I like the answer (voted it up), but I wouldn't call restoring a saved game "unfair". After all, that's really why multiple saves are there...so you can go back as far as you like (or had foresight to save at, anyway). |

Can I change my character's race/name after the start? Sadly, the "fix" for me (since I am on an Xbox, and therefore don't have a console) was to just start the game over. |

Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3? @BlueRaja: Oh, I knew that! I suspected that when I wrote the original question, but wasn't sure...and since then they've announced that the guitar outputs MIDI. I guess I didn't make that clear. I meant more "is there a subset of MIDI electric guitars that will work with the game", rather than "will the average electric guitar work with the game." The recent modification to your answer is perfect. Thanks! |

Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3? @blueraja: The last part of your answer, about the pro adapter...I see a reference to it in Wikipedia on the Rock Band 3 page: "The Squier will be console neutral, producing MIDI output and requiring players to also purchase the MadCatz MIDI Pro-Adapter specific for their console.[31] |

Are Steam price cuts predictable? I suspect that the second paragraph is pretty much the key to this whole question. |

Can I get the Morticulturalist achievement if I sell plants from my Zen Garden? I'm confused. I thought this achievement was by making all the plant types available for gameplay...not for collecting them in the zen garden. |

Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3? @BlueRaja: "They've stated that the guitar has sensors in the neck": I remember something about this...but I'm wondering if that's how Midi guitars generally work, since this is supposedly a Midi guitar...blah. Guess this is a lot of speculation. |

Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3? Well, I know nothing is 100% until it actually ships...but since they're at the point of showing off the equipment and describing how it works, and the game is supposed to ship in less than 2 months, I think it's unlikely that they'll go through a major device redesign at this point. Still, the point is well taken. |

Will a normal electric guitar work with Rock Band 3? @BlueRaja / @Jeffrey: Well, this is the kind of thing I was sort of expecting...except wouldn't a Midi type guitar have the same kinds of issues? How is that handled? |

Ramifications of mass slaughter? This reminds me of a story I heard about a gamer who, in Fallout (1 or 2? can't remember) solved every single "mission" using entirely peaceful methods, and didn't kill a single person in the game...except he killed every child in every city. Uber creepy/geeky. |

How do you increase your team members' loyalty in Mass Effect 2? @rmontagud: Quite true. Apparently, you can eventually repair the damage through talking to them again later, but it takes a much higher paragon/renagade score to do this than it would have to just get it right in the first place. |
