comment What is the bonus received for filling up a hotel floor?
@Mathias711, no, because you can only upgrade floors up to the 10th level.

comment Taxes are calculated as a percentage of what in SimCity Buildit?
Interesting... so the 20% number is basically meaningless, without any indication of what the other variables are.

comment What determines the exchange rate for global trade items?
I was also going to ask what determines how long it takes items to sell, right now it's been taking forever and sometimes it's really quick, but maybe price has something to do with it.

I never noticed that... all my slots are full right now, once one of them empties I want to check that out!

comment Why would I want to build more floors?
@CoryKlein I totally agree with you. I was just pointing out that, as far as I know, there is at least one benefit of having more floors. Whether or not that is worth the extra costs incurred is up to you!

comment Why do I get Gold stars from some bitizens in their dream job?
@Katustrawfic, silver stars are given for Bitizens that have a skill level less than 9. Gold stars for Bitizens with skill level = 9.

comment Can I make infinite Bux once I have more than 50% floors?
Yes, I have every single floor and am generating 1000s of biz by evicting and hiring new bitizens into their dream jobs. Tedious, yes. But it works.

comment Why do I get Gold stars from some bitizens in their dream job?
The gold star indicates that the bitizen has a skill level of 9, as you said. Having a star in general means you get 2x the amount of goods for the price of only one set. You also get a discount based on the sum of the skill level of each worker.

comment Is there any way to get more workers?
Quick stock actually stocks the ENTIRE TOWER, so if you have a lot of floors, it's not just a few coins or bux. It can be a lot!

comment How is the fully stocked floor bonus calculated?
@ZeroStack, is tiny death star the same as tiny tower? That was the only difference I saw. That would explain why I didn't see it, as I looked through only the posts on the tiny-tower tag.

@ZeroStack, you are correct. My bad. I'll vote to close this.

Typo on my part, I meant it's possible. My bad, thanks for finding the error.

comment Why is my boat stuck, and how can I unstick it?
@yx, I didn't build them, they just seemed to build themselves. I do allow more than 1 type of industry / town.

comment Why is my boat stuck, and how can I unstick it?
@yx, it could be that the 2 oil rigs are just so close they can't maneuver, but then how did the boats get in there in the first place?

comment Is it possible to achieve a 100% transported percentage?
Wow, I had no idea that things like the age of the vehicle and having a statue in the town factored in. Thanks for the link! Great answer!

Boats frequently drive over each other all the time.

comment Why is my boat stuck, and how can I unstick it?
It says they're heading to the ship depot because that's where I tried to send them. If I try to send them to the rig, that's what it says "Heading for..."

comment Why aren't my entry/exit signals working correctly?
@yx, the entry signal acts as an OR gate on each exit signal, so the point is the train waits at the entry signal until one of the platforms opens, otherwise with "normal" signals all the trains will get back logged waiting for the preferred route which is the left-side path.

comment What causes some industries to go away?
@foocode, OK that is definitely the difference between when my oil rigs went away and when they didn't that I never noticed. I keep up the passenger business now and the rigs just stay put. Good to know! I never made that connection.

comment What causes some industries to go away?
It's just interesting because I've had some rigs for over 200 years. I've been waiting for them to go away all this time and they haven't! I thought they ran out but I guess there's an awful lot of oil to exploit in my seas.
