comment What tactical niche does each of the new multiplayer units fill?
@fbueckert: It answers the question for 1 of the 7 new units.

comment What is the game length bonus?
@OrcJMR: Oh absolutely. In fact I highly doubt the Fibonacci sequence accurately models the rate of XP gain. I merely proposed it as an example of a function that increases faster later on than it does early. For most players XP gain actually probably plateaus around the time you're fully working your first expansion.

comment Why didn't Tempests replace Carriers?
@Ullallulloo: Questions that can't be answered authoritatively are bad, I'm not arguing that. But Arremer's answer suggests this question can be answered authoritatively.

comment Why didn't Tempests replace Carriers?
@Sconibulus: Is it a legitimate question if there are actual dev comments on why the decision was made? Note Arremer's answer.

comment Did the Xel'Naga ever interact with the Terrans?
I got the impression that the gaps in the timeline were long enough that the Xel'Naga had been gone for many thousands of years before the Terrans arrived, probably before what we would consider 'humans' even evolved.

comment Is there a secret mission in Heart of the Swarm?
@Nick122: In Wings of Liberty (why does my brain keep wanting to say Wings of Light???) it did. In order to get the "Wings of Liberty: (difficulty)" achievement you had to complete every mission on that difficulty, including the hidden mission. You could even look at what was left to do for the achievement and see that you had done all the missions except "Piercing the Shroud" and promptly think, "Where the heck is 'Piercing the Shroud'?"

comment What's up with the Strange Organism in Waking the Ancient?
@Sconibulus: Like I said, it burrows in a hurry once you can see it, so I doubt you click on it enough to nuke it before it gets away.

comment Do Scavenger Trinkets stack in co-op Orcs Must Die 2?
You can reset your skulls any time you're in the campaign menu, which makes testing stuff easy if you can figure out a good way to test it. I asked this question because my friend and I couldn't figure out a good way to determine whether the Scavenger Trinket passive is shared between players, and if so whether it stacks.

Yeah, I had heard that they said that, but I'm not convinced it's actually true. A friend and I tested the Trap Reset Trinket, for example, and found the exact opposite to be true: the passive applied to both characters' traps (and didn't stack), while the active only affected the traps of the character that brought the trinket.

The coin drops aren't assigned to a specific character; the Rift Guardian Trinket ups lives, and it definitely stacks when both players bring it.
