comment Fallout 4 difficulty question
Wouldn't that mean you could easily farm good items by raising the difficulty when the enemies spawn and reducing it again before you attack them?

Don't tell me, tell the admins. I can't help you with that. I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because we can not provide support for some arbitrary minecraft server.

That might also be the reason why you got banned. People generally don't like it when you vandalize their creations. Anyway, we can't provide support for some arbitrary minecraft servers. Contact the admins when you want to get unbanned.

There are thousands of minecraft servers. Just pick a different one where people don't ban you without a reason. Also, don't try to work around a ban. That's really bad attitude.

comment How many science points can be obtained through experiments in the whole solar system?
@Mixxiphoid not when the question tries to find a loophole in your question to provide a technically correct answer but not the answer you actually wanted. The number 209,444 is actually the kind of answer I was looking for, but unfortunately it's for 0.9 and the science system went through some rebalancing in the past updates.

Gotcha! I modified the question to also exclude asteroids.

@MBraedley I would still like to know out of curiosity. I also think that this answer would be important for any modders who want to extend the tech tree and make sure that it is actually possible to unlock all the nodes they add.

@Frank It's not broad. You can answer it with some simple calculations.

comment Is it possible to use my Pokemon Ruby save file from the online flash version on an emulated version?
File extensions don't mean anything. They are a hint at the format, but they don't define it. I have seen a couple of programs and games which call their saved files ".sav" (in fact I used that extension for the savegames of one of my own games once), but internally these files still have completely different structures.

This assumes that the game boy emulator uses the same savegame file format as the flash version.

comment Why are parachutes so useless?
Regarding water landings: I made the experience that they are usually far more destructive than solid landings.

comment Why won't Sonic & Knuckles collection work on my windows 10 computer?
I've heard that there are several Mega Drive / Genesis emulators which work very well on Windows 10. Too bad that most ways to get the ROMs are illegal.

@Powerlord Is there a way to tell which bundles allow you to gift spare-copies and which do not?

comment What's more fuel efficient, orbit or slingshot?
These are two questions. 1. if a direct ascend is better than going into a parking orbit first and 2. if gravity assists are worth it.

comment Why isn't my LAN world working in Minecraft 1.9?
what exactly do you mean with "We had the same Internet"? There is only one Internet I know about. Also, Internet connection should be irrelevant for this, because LAN stands for Local Area Network, as in multiplayer not over the internet.

@BaileyPedersenBentleythecomp Answer updated. But it's still the exact same situation.

comment Why I ever should use a Kerbodyne S3-14400 Tank?
@vianna77 This was true until the aerodynamics overhaul in version 1.0. Now asparagus designs have atmospheric drag problems due to their width. But that's an issue for a different question. Please try to stay on-topic when commenting on questions and answers. If you would like to change the subject, ask a new question.

comment Why did the original Game Boy have four shades of grey?
3 bit per pixel also causes byte alignment issues. The game boy used an 8 bit CPU, so with 2 bit per color it could store 4 pixels in a cpu-word. With 3 bits per pixel it would either have been restricted to 2 pixels per cpu-word with 2 unused bits or use some fiendishly complex arithmetics to process 8 pixels with 3 cpu-words. That means 2 bpp or 4bpp would have been reasonable choices, but 4bpp displays didn't seem feasible at that time for handheld gaming systems.

Are you sure you put them the right way around? The more detailed side is supposed to be outside.
