At day I work as an ABAP developer in civil service.

At night I am developing a web-based MMORPG using HTML5 Javascript for the client, Java for the server and MongoDB as database backend. You can follow my progress on my development blog.

comment Can you land an asteroid?
I did it personally. I now have an 85 ton asteroid laying around near my space center.

comment When is the orbit of an asteroid determined?
I haven't played long enough yet to witness an asteroid impact, but I think I read a developer statement which says that impacts on Kerbin will not interfere with your game.

comment Concurrent players on WoW - then and now
The usual modus operandi when you notice a question with very outdated answers is to place a bounty on it to get attention and encourage people to revise on the old answers and write new ones.

comment How do I get back from Eve?
Regarding Manley's Eve or Bust series: Episode 13 shows the return vehicle in action. Keep in mind that you only need to get into orbit. When you managed to get so far, you can send a 2nd ship to pick them up.

comment How do I get back from Eve?
You might need a bit less than 11.5km/s when you try to land on an elevated area. Because of the large pressure gradient, a few 1000m of height can make a large difference.

comment Which livestock is the most efficient food source?
@DLeh Theoretically yes, but only when you keep building chicken pastures which costs you space, builders time and resources. When you manage to completely fill the map with chicken farms you will have less food available than when you would have taken more time and filled the whole map with sheep farms.

comment Why can't I stabilize a critically wounded solider in XCOM: Enemy Unknown when standing right on top of him?
It might be a design choice, because it might clash with the revive-ability which brings the critically injured soldier back to action where he lies. When the support would stand right on top of him, you would have two units in one space.

Hello rsegal. Please note that Stackexchange tries to be a knowledge base, not a link directory. It would be much better when you would write the information in your answer instead of pointing people to other websites where they can find it.

According to the answer by Trent Hawkins it isn't.

comment Which livestock is the most efficient food source?
@Assylum Turned out you were wrong. Neither their numbers nor their eggs make chicken more efficient than other animals. Their advantage is their lower setup time, though.

ToDo: Spade how the workers affect the population growth, including tools and education.

@Assylum This discussion leads nowhere. I will conduct some experiments and try to find the numbers.

comment Which livestock is the most efficient food source?
@Assylum I just found out that butchering a sheep gives you 200 units of food while a chicken gives you a mere 4. I doubt that chicken reproduce more than 50 times as fast as sheep. But there are still their eggs. I still need numbers for cattle (I don't have any in any of my towns).

comment What are the rules for animal mating?
"Animal birth rates depend on how many animals are in the pen" -> In what way? Is it better to have lots or fewer animals in a pen? What's the ideal herd size for breeding?

comment How can I maximize the reproduction rate of animals?
By the way, animals seem to reproduce asexually in banished. Even a single animal will be enough to start a livestock industry. gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/157021/…

comment Good tactic to maintain a good food supply in Banished
@ppumkin Running out of tools is indeed a problem which is much more serious than it seems at first. It not just cripples the food production, it also cripples the tool production chain itself, so it's hard to get out of. This negative feedback loop has lead to the downfall of more than one of my villages. But that's a different topic than this question.

Sorry for downvoting, but this is more of an experience report than an answer.
