I'm working as a QA Engineer currently. I left being a developer about 2 years back so that I could have more time to play games. I have been a hardcore gamer my entire life and loved it.

I started playing games with my 386 (like accolade, barbarian, lame pacman, prince of persia, Wolfenstein(at my friends place on his 486 ;) )).

Pentium 1: text games, monkey island, evil days of luckless john, red baron, evil genius ;) etc. you name it. I've played it. not to mention the common games.

nintendo (8 bits): a pretty huge no. of games - can't list em.

sega (16 bits): again a pretty huge no.

pc/lappy: My current favs include series - Assassins Creed, Prince Persia, Monkey Island , Sam and Max, Call of Duty, Splinter cell, Star wars (action ones) - all series...

Its going to be a very very huuuuge list.

comment The ending for Super Mario World (Wii Virtual-Console)
I know its a surprise...because we were all expecting more. My two cents: we can't expect much on the ending from games like mario anyway. :)

Yeah I think my problem is probably due to the on-board graphics. But the strange thing is that I'm able to play games like call of duty 4 and Monkey Island series with no problems whatsoever.

comment What are the 3d analyze settings for Splinter cell chaos theory
An excellent question. +1 and favorited. For the love of God someone please answer this qs. I've tried everything possible to run this game. compatibility modes, 3d analyze, swiftshader, tried updating the game, even tried with different no-cd cracks. The dvd is just lying around in my room these days.

Is there a place where we could discuss questions like these if not in this site? I found this question to be deeply interesting because I have been a hardcore gamer my entire life and now I dont get time to play anymore. This is a question I ask myself so many times. Couldn't we discuss questions like these if it was marked as community wiki?
