I am a person who often reads things, and sometimes writes other things down.

I can program alright in Java, rustily in Python, and I know enough Haskell to look at a function and possibly know what it's doing.

Oh, google kept giving me a different wiki, and the article they had used a picture for the tech categories that wasn't even the current set of categories, so I wasn't trusting that much. This seems better.

comment Do the automatically generated ship designs update themselves as you discover new techs?
Yeah, I've played a lot of MoO2, I'm familiar with the idea of custom specialized fleets being better than generic ones. However, one of the parts I love most about MoO2 is that you can turn off the part where you need to design your ships and just have generic ships that go up as your tech goes up and you don't have to fiddle with it.

comment How can I store things in lead bins?
Quite possibly. Having never done reclaim mode, I'm not sure why you need to get the gems out of their bins in the first place, so I've never really attempted such a thing.

Then you may have to get supremely fiddly and designate stockpiles that are impossible to satisfy with the current gem in bin setup: Designate stockpiles that only hold a single kind of gem at a time, and all your mixed bins will have to be sorted out to satisfy your stockpile conditions.
