How can I take screenshots of Need For Speed: Undercover? Alright. That Fraps works and PrintScreen doesnt is because of a "neat" little technique called OVERLAY. Overlay things are "put" into the image by the graphics card AFTER the printscreen button can catch it. Nowadays it is used less and less because it kills Aero Glass for example. It was very popular until Windows XP though. |

What does “console port” mean in relation to games? @Augusto: There may be code changes, of course. Take for example graphics. On the XBOX and PC, they use DirectX code. But they can't on the PS3! They have to rewrite the lowest level graphics core. The engine itself might be compilable without changes, though. |

What does “console port” mean in relation to games? Also sometimes they really get mouse movement wrong. In Just Cause 2, for example, mouse movement is always delayed about a 1/4 second later, at least on my pc! (i5 2500k, radeon 5770). In Unreal Tournament 3 (older game, but I think it fits) mouse movement is ALWAYS recognized EXACTLY when you move the mouse. @PowerRoy: You can use the xbox controllers with a PC, so it at least works. In Assassins Creed 1 they really got it wrong: If it means left mouse button, it says "Key 0". If it means the number 1 it just says "1" |

Oddly predictable stutter, only in Crysis Oh wow, Norton. Practically the culprit to anything, including world hunger. |
